Okay, so something has been bothering me for awhile?? So we all know individuals who watch the show for ships, or just purely for the plot, and then we have those people who say they are in it for the plot, but LOVE ranting about ships and ship wars, etc. they complain about it, when I think they should just kind their own business? If you don’t want to be apart of the toxic side of the fandom, then steer clear of it and try not to call negative attention to yourself. Posting shit to spite people who do ship characters together doesn’t make you valid, it means you’re being a bitch. It’s that simple. There are so many other ways you can show your distaste, but being a raging cunt about it will only make people hate you.

It’s been bothering me for s bit, but I’m cutting this post short before I say more.

Just a Voltron S8 rant

Why the fuck did Lance get the shortest end of the stick. Like what the actual fuck, guys. So, he’s a farmer now and he’s going to surround himself with things that remind him of Allura? How is that healthy? And that one year later transition? He had bags under his eyes. He’s not okay. Most likely has depression now. Everything about S8 seemed really rushed and so much ex machina bullshit. Like really? And yes, there was complaints about the queer baiting and shit, but that doesn’t mean that to appease us you rush in and practically force a romance/relationship. I love that Shiro got married and is 100% gay, but the fact that there was no fucking build up to the romance? Absolute shit. Where was the story telling? The plot progression? The action was so hyped and extra, but it didn’t seem like any thought was put into it. It held the same feeling that a lot of shounen anime does with the increasingly strong enemies, but in under thirty minutes. I’m going to be honest and say S8 felt half-assed in almost every aspect. Yes, I cried. Of course I did. But that doesn’t mean I like how things ended up. They just threw in that wedding scene to cover-up what happened last season and that whole fiasco. Lance deserved so much better. I am so angry and I’m sorry that this post/rant is so long, and this probably is only a quarter of what I actually have to see because I just finished it and I am entirely unsatisfied.
