Spent a fabulous morning at #vlychada #beach in #santorini. This is a mostly-local, sandy beach with deliciously warm sunshine and lots of personal space. Oh yeah! And it’s clothing-optional as well. I looked it up after being invited to “swim” by a 70+ year old man who proceeded to walk down the beach a bit where he took off all his clothes and went in for a dip. 😵‍💫😳🤣 Not sure which was more of an inhibiting factor for me: taking off my clothes in public, or how ice cold the water was. In case you’re wondering, I did not strip down and go for a swim. Nonetheless, what a relaxing morning at the beach. Just a few steps down from the beach is the marina, where I sat at a #taverna and tried my first #saganaki in #greece. OMG. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I’m sure my cholesterol just went up 20 points.
