i think i’m always going to be mad about the dumbest thing veronica mars ever did, which was texting mac “beaver’s a killer!!1!” when she A: knew mac was WITH cassidy when she sent the message, B: knew the reason cassidy killed the people he killed, knew that it was completely unrelated to mac, had seen him around her and saw how much he cared about her, and could logically conclude that mac herself wasn’t in any danger around him, C: could have just as easily called mac and said “hey do you have a minute, i really need to talk” OR gone to logan’s suite and pulled mac aside to talk there (i think she called her first in the show and i know mac wasn’t at logan’s anymore when veronica sent the text but both would have been much better options), and D: had the resources and the credibility to report cassidy to the police. lamb doesn’t like her, but he can’t deny that her methods are effective, and she’s got the proof ready!!
tl;dr veronica being a dumbass/rob thomas’ shitty writing is the reason things went to shit so quickly after not pictured: cassidy casablancas. don’t even fucking get me started on veronica going up to the roof alone after getting an ominous text from “mac” to go meet her on the roof. my girl would never be that fucking stupid. rob thomas you have no rights.
