Lt. Henry A McCartney Jr. Was an ace with five victories. Hank was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada in 1918. During WWII he flew a tour with VMO-251, one with VMF-121 and flew his third and last tour with VMF-214. McCartney scored victories with all three units. He retired from the Marine Corps with the rank of Colonel in 1966.
