I asked if people wanted to do a Pandora Hearts/VNC event in October, and most people said they wanted prompt lists....so here they are!!
The first two lists are the daily prompts. The daily prompts start on October 1st and run through October 31st.
The third picture is the weekly prompts. The weekly prompts start on October 3rd.
Please tag me @phmonth2021 and/or @i-prefer-the-term-antihero when you post!! That way I can easily see and reblog your creations over here!!
I will be using the tags #pandoratober2021 and #vanitober2021, and I recommend you do the same!! It'll make it easier for me to find things I miss.
Feel free to get as creative as you want!
Feel free to mix-and-match and/or combine the two lists at your leisure!! (Say, maybe on day 27 you'd rather do a "Mirror" thing for PH and an "Eyes" thing for VNC, that's totally cool!!) I purposely tried to make the days go with each other.
You can do one list, both lists, switch back and forth between the two according to what most inspires you...any way you want to participate is great!!
For the weekly prompts. I tried to pick one prompt that was a little more fun, and another which was a little more substantial. You can feel free to use one, both, combine them, etc. The weekly prompts are for both/either Pandora Hearts and/or Vanitas no Carte.
What I mean by the "Swap" prompt is like universe swap, genderswap, villain/hero swap, stuff like that. And then "What If?" is kinda like "what if an event went differently?" but you can use it in any way you desire.
For Vanitas no Carte, the "Vampire AU" prompt can also be a "Human AU." Like if you want to make the vampires humans. I know that kinda fits with the "swap" prompt too, but still XD
NSFW is fine, please just make sure to tag it appropriately, and let everyone know it's NSFW!!
Make sure to tag your VNC spoilers/let people know when something has vnc spoilers!! For recent chapters people might not be caught up on, and also for anime onlys!!

Every day leading up to the anime release will be a new character group prompt! (I couldn’t decide which specific characters to prioritize so I just did groups XD)
You can pick one character from these categories, or multiple characters! Whatever you want! And more characters might fit in these categories than I mentioned—feel free to use others if you feel they fit!
8 Days till release (June 24th): Noè and/or Murr
7 Days till release (June 25th): The de Sades (Dominique, Louis, Veronica, Antoine, Teacher)
6 Days (June 26th): The Royals (Jeanne, Luca, Loki, Ruthven, the Queen, Marquis Machina)
5 Days (June 27th): The Chasseurs (Roland, Olivier, Astolfo, Maria, Georges)
4 (June 28th): Chloè and/or Jeans Jacques, (you could do little Jeanne here, and/or anyone specific to the Gevaudan arc)

Pandora Hearts Month 2022 will take place during May/June!
This means it will take place during the final half of May, and the beginning half of June!
I will post the vote for Phmonth22 prompts soon!!
However, this year we will not be having a vncweek because...
We will have a Vanitas no Carte month that takes during a different month with different prompts!!
Vncmonth22 will either take place during July or September.
There were more votes for July, but I might be going on a trip during July, and if so it will probably be too stressful to do both Vncmonth and prep for the trip. So if that's the case, it'll be September!!
This one is subject to change by the time I get closer to Vncmonth, but by the votes, it looks like the themes for the four weeks will be: Noé and the de Sades, The Blue Moon Clan (Vanitas included), Jean Jacques and Chloé, and the Chasseurs!
The contest will be a raffle, and there will be multiple winners!
However...I checked in with my proxy and it looks like it might not be as easy to get stuff from the 15th anniversary store as I thought. I am going to need to check in on the first day the store opens to see if I can actually get the merch.
IF I am able to get stuff from the 15th anniversary store, then the prizes will be the Break plushie and the Break character stand!
If not, however, I bought an extra Chained Pandora Hearts Zine + merch, and I will make that the prize instead! And then I'll find something else for the other prize, haha!

Hey, do you guys want to do some sort of countdown event for the VNC anime over here?
I know it's a little late to be asking that XD But I realized we could do something fun! (Though it'll likely have to be pretty casual since I gave myself no prep time)
If so, what kind of event would you like? A prompt event like Phmonth? Just a general "draw or write something for VNC every day till the anime releases and I'll reblog it"? We celebrate a new character each day--(the daily prompts could just be a character? Which characters would you want to be picked?)? I dunno...some sort of ask game/event? Like where we send each other vnc asks and/or prompts?
Also, should we do something about the time zone differences? That doesn’t really matter for phmonth, but it might for a countdown XD (I live in America so my time is quite off from Japan’s time)

I can come up with the prompts myself but I thought I’d give folks a chance to weigh in on what prompts you’d like, if anyone wants to!!
Questions:
Would you guys like to have separate lists for ph and vnc, or one for both?
I think a number of new people have probably joined the vnc fandom since the anime began, who aren’t familiar with ph, and who might better see the list, and be more inclined to participate, if they’re separate. So for that reason I’m inclined to do two. But I’ve always kind of made events that combine both series in the past here, and I don’t know if the majority of people would prefer to have just one list, and pick if they want to use the prompt for ph or vnc.
Would you guys like to have weekly prompts in addition to the daily prompts?
Personally I prefer daily prompts, so I’ll probably do that either way. But some inktober lists have weekly prompts and, if you want, it could potentially be fun to have some different weekly prompts? Like the weekly prompts could be things like “Costume Party” or “Vampire AU” whereas the daily prompts would be like “Moon” or “Pumpkin.” I dunno, just a thought.
I forgot to ask!! Did I miss anyone’s art/fics/edits etc from the vnc countdown event?
I noticed throughout the event, looking through the tag, that sometimes when people would tag me it wouldn’t work. But I forgot to ask at the end if I missed anyone. Sorry this is so late 😅 But if anyone worked hard on a fic/art/edit they still deserve to have it reblogged here!!
