Note: concider this an Au!! I’m well aware that Vanitas is unlikely to be so comfortable and happy in a scenario where his arm, displaying a sign of his impending doom, is exposed like this. I understand if you feel like this bugs you, so please imagine that this is an AU where Noé is a photographer and Vanitas is his model, so the mark is not actually harming him. Also the visuals were inspired by pictorialism and cyanotype photography, which was already around during the time of current VnC events. Emergence of pictorialism actually predates it, and the photo by one of the most prominent women photographers of this movement, Julia Cameron, which inspired the pic of Vanitas surrounded by flowers, was made a couple decades before the current plot.

Vanitas and Noe laughing after they fought along side one another. Not knowing how theyre still alive. After a fight that culminated from a piece of Vanitas's past coming back to haunt him, and Noe wanting to help him through it even if Vanitas doesnt want it (aka him snapping at Moreau, despite that going against Vanitas's plan)

There are other people there, yet the scene, and many before and after it, its like they're the only ones there. And after this scene, they seem closer. And are easier with physical affection.
