The Red Rat
Vanitas had dragged Noé out to a little establishment known as 'the red rat'. At first glance, the vampire assumed it was some kind of Pub that was until they entered the establishment and Noé could see women in their undergarments of chemise and corsets with tights of red or black lace hoisted up with garters. Noé frowned by stopped when he heard music starting up as a woman stood on stage in maroon red and black, she was stunning to him; she started to sing and dance and he found his eyes wandering over her as she was dancing with other women in similar scandalous attire.

Nothing more” she said with a warning look “Who is that?” Vanitas asked to save his friend from any more embarrassment “That’s (Name) (Last Name) she is my daughter, and the next in line of Madam,” the woman said looking out to the young woman.

After that initial first meeting between those two, Noé found himself going to see all of her shows she would perform every Friday night. Vanitas on a few occasions would follow the vampire but then lose him halfway, so the human gave up following the vampire and playing it off as Noé meeting with Dominique or he was going to Altus Paris for vampire affairs, but the reality was that Noé was meeting up with (Name).
Noé watched as she furnished her show and he heaved a sigh. As he turned to the bar and ordered a drink, the place rules were ‘get a drink or pay for serves of your choice or get out‘ and Noé chose to have a drink to at least watch her perform. (Name) noticed the same tall white-haired man coming to see her shows for almost 7 nights already, it made her get a little giddy about that. There was a moment of silence before (Name) let out a small sight that ended with a breathy chuckle “well kind Sir, perhaps if you would like to perhaps spend time outside of my working hours I would be open to the idea of it. As you know I only provide show entertainment, I do not work as the ladies of the night.” She clarified to him “so if you wish to gain my friendship then let us start with your name” “Noé Archiviste” he had the biggest smile on his face and with a sparkle in his eyes that made her flush a little but smile none the least “My name is Noé Archiviste”

Time went on and Noé would meet up with (Name) outside of her work hours and frequently they would go and eat at cafés and he normally treated her to the desserts like the gentleman he was. (Name) was always excited to meet up with him on her days off and more so before she had to work when he had free time to. Noé Had to lie and say that he was an assistant for a detective so he was busy most times but did his best to make it to her shows on Friday nights. She always found his company refreshing, she knew that he was oblivious even to his own feelings; she was well aware he had an attachment to her and would over declare how much he wants to see her and cheer her on with anything she wishes to do.

Madam Pompadour was saying that the girls and I had to be careful…because there had been two girls of a different establishment killed…” (Name) asked as she looked at her tea “I just worry and I want to know if you knew anything” “…we are investigating some disappearance cases but I don’t think they’re related-“ “Please Noé…” There was silence between the two for a moment as he sighed heavily as he put his dessert fork down and looked at her intently. She gave a pleading look as she stared at him “….Tell me what you know, if it is related to our investigation I will tell you the truth” ”The girls that were killed… they were bitten by something some drained from blood other’s necks were torn…” she said as she looked away ”… and the women taken?” Noé asked “….I’m not sure those details,” she said shaking her head. ”I’ll let Vanitas know of the women killed, as it is somewhat related to our investigation”

Later that day Noé had dropped her off at her work after she was approached by one of the girls letting her know Madam Pompadour was asking for her to do a last-minute shift change. But the creature threw Noé across throwing him onto a wall as it ran off, (Name) rushed over to Noé “Noé! Hey stay with me ok” she said slapping his face to wake. Madam Pompadour rushed out and gasped as she told (Name) to bring him inside. (Name) to him up into the red rat rooms where they had a nurse and doctor on sight just in case something happened to any workers or customers.
Once he was checked over they just said that he need blood to heal but for now they could stitch him up in the meantime so he could rest up from the blood loss. (Name) was checked over and her wounds were cleaned up and the madam sent her to rest and that she would find an understudy for (Name). The young woman took Noé Into one of the cleaner rooms and laid him on the bed as she sat in a chair next to him cleaning up the blood on him. when he woke with the blurry vision he noticed someone in the room making him alert as he sat up ”it’s just me Noé, “ she said as she walked over to him.
