“Ahhhh! What a beautiful day!” Cate sighed with bliss as she took in her surroundings after exiting out of the subway entrance. For it being the middle of winter, it was actually quite pleasant! While there was some snow on the ground, the sun was out and there was a nice cool breeze blowing; it was still cold, but it was actually pretty mild compared to most days in NYC. Still, the redhead violinist loved it and it actually inspired her to go out and maybe play some Christmas and Winter songs on her violin.

She was actually making progress towards her destination until… A familiar blond hair style caught her attention. She blinked twice and seem to squint her eyes as if to try and zoom in. Their back was turned towards her and they seem to be walking someone beside them but… That hair style! There’s no one who else that has it! 

A huge grin had formed on her lips, Cate knew who this was! With a tighten tug on her backpack straps, she bolted into a run, making sure not run into other bystanders or slip on ice until she was just a few feet from the person in front of her.

“PROMPTO!!!” Cate exclaimed happily before wrapping her arms around the blonde photographer behind him, giving him a sudden but friendly hug.

This was a terrible idea. He could so easily get recognized. He was Prince of a different country. This would cause so much drama if this got out. But that's why he wore sunglasses and a zip hoodie. He probably looked like a total creeper like this but he had to be unrecognizable!

On the way to the strip club, Noctis had thought about turning back and going back to the dorm, that wasn't an option though. Sure he could masturbate but his roommate wasn't there a lot and who knew when he’d be coming back? This was the only option in his book!

Everything went fairly smooth in his book. The bounced didn't question him at all. Maybe he didn't even know who he was, that'd be nice. Japan was a bit distant from England so it was possible.

He stepped into the strip club and could hardly see a thing, it was so dark and the sunglasses just made it worse. Fuck. His eyes would adjust though, they’d have to. The teen took to sitting at a table near the stage and watch the male’s dance. They all looked so natural and damn some of them could so move their hips. Noctis ordered a drink after a few minutes and continued to watch, no one was really doing anything… too exciting.

It was when his eyes gravitated to someone on stage he hadn't noticed before did the male sit up. Now those hips, Fuck. The male got up and moved to a table a little closer, just wanting to watch the male now. He’d have his eyes on him most of the night. As he took some time to actually examine the male, his eyes wandered up and he got a good look at the blond’s face. The hell? No way. Noctis slid his glasses off a bit to get a better look. “Prompto…” The male whispered. Like his roommate? He wanted to find this odd, weird, something, but… he didn't. He only found it incredibly sexy. Prompto was a cute adorable dork who got flustered easily and had a knack for photography like it was nobody's business. He had already found himself gathering a bit of a crush on the male. But they hardly ever spoke, he never felt he could really talk to him too Long without getting weird. looking at him like this though, whoa.

Noct decided to act first and question later, he honestly didn't want to miss this. Noctis gestured for one of the drink servers, paid them a tip then went about requesting Prompto for so time to himself, he didn't care what he had to pay.

After a few moments, he was led to a private room to wait for the male. There was no way Noctis would be taking his ‘disguise’ off. That's be way too awkward and embarrassing. He just wanted some time with the blond. He saw how dorky and funny he was during school, but this was something different. He waited for the male, and when he entered, Noctis gave a friendly wave, making sure to cover his accent, that'd be way too obvious. “Hey there.”

The distinct aromas of coffee being brewed filled the air of the small hole-in-the-way cafe Cate was currently, getting ready to do a little performance on the stage. She had hooked up Zi-Zi II towards the amp that she would be using and did a few test sounds; tuning the strings until they were just perfect. Nodding her head in satisfaction, she took her seat on the stool before waiting for the other two musicians (one on the keyboard and the other on percussion) to get ready.

She glanced out towards the crowd, seeing there wasn’t a lot of people but there was quite interest to see the next group about to perform today. A smile appeared on her lips, she could feel the excitement bubbling within her; she just couldn’t wait to start and let everyone listen to the song they were going to play.

Once the other two musicians were ready, Cate got herself into position, placing her violin against her chin and held the bow. She closed her eyes, took a deep breath in, let it out in a soft sigh. Her foot tap in count down and then, she and the keyboard musicians began to play the first notes of a very familiar but famous song; with her plucking at the strings and him playing the notes on the keyboard. The percussionist then joined in as she began to move her bow along the strings, playing the song and her expression changed, melting away into the song with grace as she performed.

Noctis honestly hated being popular. There was the summer festival coming up and it seemed everyone in school was making it some kind of date night. Noctis swore every girl in school had asked him already. He turned them all down, not only because he was sure they liked him because he was royalty but also he was gay, so no interest in woman at all. 

He’d been trying to get away from a group of girls for almost ten minutes now. He planned on meeting Prompto outside for lunch, and he was outside, but surrounded by these girls. Lunch was almost half over before he managed to pull himself away from the group.

“Prompto!” He called, waving to the blond as he trotted just the few feet from him. “I am so sorry.” He sighed, flopping down beside him.
