Prompto kept his gloved hand firmly holding Noctis’, the other safe from the cold in his jacket pocket. He was telling a story about something, and honestly, in was incredibly likely that he was rambling at this point, but Noctis’ always listened anyway.
In the middle of his sentence, he heard someone call out his name, which already startled him enough to jump, but feeling arms around him from behind jostled a yelp from him. Thankfully, before he could get too weirded out, he recognized the voice.
Laughing, he tried to look behind him. “That you, Cate? Jeez, you just about scared the life outta me!”
Noctis mirrored Prompto as they walked. One hand holding Prompto’s and the other deep in his pocket, but still it felt too cold. He really didn’t think he’d get used to the weather here. But he’d take any weather to be with Prompto.
The male listened to every word as Prompto spoke. They didn’t see each other often, so when they did, he wanted to hear everything he had to say. Actually, he always did, so this wasn’t any different. Just hearing his voice in person was enough. The last thing Noctis expected was to hear his boyfriend’s name being called out as they walked. He didn’t even have time to turn before Prompto was outright tackle hugged. His eyes widened as he watched the scene, lifting his arm so they still held hands.
He was so confused, even moreso when Prompto began to speak. Okay, so he knew who this was. That was good. “Yeah, please don’t.” He chuckled. Though he was confused, he would still be friendly for now.
“Awwwwwww! Where’s the fun in that?!” Cate laughed in good humor. “Besides, you are like the only fella I know with the cool spiked hairstyle!”
She did perk up hearing the other male besides Prompto. The first thing she noticed was he was holding the blond’s hand, that gave her a que that she should let go of the photographer, which she promptly did. Second thing was, she couldn’t help but feel like she’s seen his face before. Hmmm...
Regardless! The redhead violinist gave the other male a big and friendly grin.
“Oh hi there! Sorry to barge right in there, fella! Hope you don’t mind a friend saying hi to another!”
