To anyone,

Good day! I'm wondering what you all know about Scala history? I can't imagine much has been preserved beyond recent history.

if you had to choose anyone else to be in Ventus' position (darkness shit then bbs shenanigans) who would it be and how would shit be different :}c

Ooooooh this is an interesting question for sure. I am a huge sucker for roleswap-type aus so this was fun to think about.

I think I'd choose either Ephemer or Strelitzia to swap around with Ventus. I feel like the two of them specifically have vulnerabilities that could be exploited by Darkness in ways similar to how Ventus's were. Ephemer would especially be interesting if we were keeping everything else about his character the same as it was in-game, him being assigned the de facto leader of the dandelions and being friends with the Player pre-war.

BBS-wise, I feel like Ephemer would handle the world jumping like a champ. He'd get along with everyone he met like a house on fire. Eph's much more confident in his abilities as a keyblade wielder, too, so I imagine there would be some (minor) changes because of that. Strelitzia would be more like Ventus was methinks, she's a bit unsure about everything, but she'd still be extremely capable.

I also like thinking about how all the other characters related to them would get swapped around. For example, Roxas would now have to look like Ephemer/Strelitzia lol (I'm imagining an Ephemer-Roxas maybe having the sides of his head shaved down, I think that would look cute. Maybe a Strelitzia-Roxas would have shorter hair? Or maybe Rox would have a different type of ponytail, you decide)

There's also stuff regarding how the other dandelion's fates would be swapped around. Would Ventus go on to found Scala Ad Caelum? Or perhaps the role would fall to Lauriam, and Ventus would somehow end up in Skuld's place instead. Either way, some poor suckers gotta "sire the bloodline" that leads to Xehanort, regardless on whether his hair ends up being white or pink. Much to think about

To everyone, what do you know of the history of Scala? Was it was always this empty for y'all or did something change?

Honestly I don't know how to answer this in character so I'll just say they're taught a watered-down history filled with some mythological elements thrown in, mostly taken from the Book. Bragi's mad about it because he was there, dammit!

Eraqus knows a little more because of his upbringing but it's mostly stuff pertaining to the Union Leaders. For example, lowerclassmen wouldn't typically be taught about the Data Daybreak Town, but Eraqus's grandfather told him about it.
