I saw your post about verbal crash and: do you think a high tech aac app might help? They're similar to communication cards except on a device like a phone or a tablet, and on the good ones you can easily load your own messages and symbols onto them, and you can also make sentences with individual words if you're still unable to speak but have slightly more processing power.
You can get symbol based ones like coughdrop or text based ones like speech assistant (my personal favourite is coughdrop, there's a bit of a learning curve to it but it's really easy to use once you get the hang of it).
(ignore if this is unhelpful, I just have a special interest in AAC so it was my first thought).
Thank you!! I just picked up Vocable, and I'm hoping that one will work (I can't really pay for any, so this seems like the best one so far) and I do like how is customizable so I can put in what I really need.
It sorta feels like jeopardy tho
