Honestly i can't get how amazing the production is for being also a 2007 release, it being electronica and post rock at the same time is truly a very experimental thing which is standard for his production during Vocaloid V2 era.

The intro hits with a story of growing up, being kids, slowing down and enjoying life was a very trivial thing to do, we didn't need to care about work and all those real life horrors, and then the moment you grew up to be an adult, you have to put your blood and tears in order to keep on living.... and then growing up to see everyone you love slowly fade away
Body and heart, cold as ice Limbs frozen solid and a desert-dry tatami room Please help me, everyone, help me Come now, everyone, let's all return to our origins
we became very cold humans, living in densely packed cities, in very small flats, trying to get money and in every each year, we go back to our hometown to reminisce our childhood village or city, wishing we could all go back to the beginning where it all started.
My spangles are drenched in sweat, I hear someone calling me "peculiar" All who I hold dear refuse to see the truth, so I dance to forget myself
No matter if this moment is just a shitty lie, truth itself is all there is now Red, blue, and yellow lights etch themselves into my memory
(this is my interpretation, but its quite hard deciphering this one generally speaking)
we live in a society where everyone is expected to fit into a fixed mould, but a few just... can't, people would mock over people who are the slightest bit of being "weird" and pick them up for their own happiness, the "dance" part is probably when we move actively we sweat, and my theory is we "melt" and disappear, as if and ice cube has turned into lukewarm water, to let out all the stress and gatekeep truth. thought its hard to decipher its meaning being honest.
the 2nd part is implying that we do these activities to raise our dopamine levels but we don't know if we're just gaslighting ourselves into thinking that everything is fine. the truth is still being kept into ourselves, being drawn in the 3 primary colors, as if the memory lane is being overwritten by our happiest points to wash out our bitter lives (this might be a metaphor that i prolly misunderstood though)
A frozen dance hall, a disco ball of diamonds
Hey, let's do it all again one more time, do it all over again with me..
the frozen dance hall is a metaphor for "a run down society living in barely habitable homes" and the a disco ball of diamonds is a metaphor for "a light that will someday shine through you" as crystals can bounce light in any direction especially if couted on a sphere hanging on the ceiling.
i think that it also means how people inside the dance hall are in the same boat as you, hoping the bitterness of life will go away.
As the singer asks you to do it again, it means that life will just repeat itself and everyday will be the same day, the same.. old.. boring... repetitive tasks
that's all, i hope that's cleared enough but holy crap this is pretty much one of my fav post rock songs of all time.
