Sam stared curiously through the glass of their cage, watching the scientists scurry about the room with a soft clicking sound. Two in particular caught their interest- a petite blond and a rather muscular brunette. They seemed to be the only two that weren’t scared of the eldritch creature contained in the reinforced glass cage

the two didn't seem like the other scientists. the others treated Sam like a caged animal but the two knew they were intelligent and able to communicate.

     It is very hard to scare the Lady Death, but that doesn’t mean it’s impossible. She had been meandering about in one of the mortal realms in her mortal guise, visiting a small textiles shop and had picked up some new skeins of yarn in very specific purple and teal colors. Walking through a back alleyway, her thoughts distracting her from eventually noticing a certain little alien lying in wait.

      She was not scared when he jumped out at her, simply startled as grey eyes grew wide and a hand flew up to where her ‘heart’ was in her chest. And then she recognized the little figure, a grin breaking across her face. 

      “Well now, you’ve certainly given me a start. What a small yet mighty critter you are, spooking Death like this.”

Sera blinked in surprise when the little fluff ball started to snuggle her but just kinda went with it. Making sure there were no poros under her, she flopped down on the ground and started to idly groom them. Cute little puff balls

Are cute puff balls! Are poros! Poros are always cute. Give her many snuggles! Seem to enjoy giving snuggles. Seem to be very snuggly! And warm! and soft! and friendly! all good things for poros to be! 

That said, the poros seem happy to snuggle up around her and keep her warm! Is good!

------ A soft chitter left the alien’s maw, tilting her head to one side and purring lightly at the gentle pap to her sleek muzzle.

Devryx gently placed a flower crown Otto’s head and pressed a kiss to his forehead before tossing a box of ammo at Hilda, as well as a narrow rectangular box containing a rather ornate knife inside. “Happy Valentine’s Day kiddo~”

Otto lets out a giggle as he hugs Devryx back, “Happy Valentine’s Day, Miss Dev!”

------- Hilda meanwhile gives the fae a smirk, “Not my style of weaponry but I’ll love it just the same. C’mere you~!” She says pulling her in for a kiss.

After making sure Yarbert was nowhere around, Dev snuck another firecracker surprise into the scientist's bedroom, rigged above his doorway this time and hidden with a cloaking spell so he hopefully wouldn't find it. She also added glitter to the bomb this year, just for shits 'n giggles. Once Yarbert opens his door, he's in for a very colorful surprise.

All is well and quiet in Godfrey Industries...until the high pitched shriek of Yarbert tears through the halls. The scientist walks out of his room the front of his body is charred black while his back is perfectly fine. He looks up and spots a flame on one of the ends of his hair and puts it out with his fingers, 

“...Inhales...Exhales...I’m gonna kill her.”

Sera's gonna monch on Edii's tail. She's bored and wants attention

Sera finds herself pinned on the sandy floor of his lair just as quickly as she starts her monch. “If you want attention, there are other ways than always going for my tail.”

     “Well...you ain’t wrong. I ain’t never seen a dragon, and I never knew they existed.” He stared up at the creature, eyes focusing intently on the form. He was sure there were many other types of dragons out there and he couldn’t help but admire the scales and all the details of Sera’s form.
