Charlie does not like the rain. She does not particularly like sunshine either. She likes the weather being mild, she likes it being at the point where she could go out and walk around if she wants to or she could stay in if she wants to as well. She doesn’t like it when it’s too dark or cold or dreary for her to want to go outside and she hates it when she can’t go outside for two seconds before she’s sweating her tail off.
This is why she doesn’t think anyone should be surprised that she’s a little bit peeved when she’s trapped in a diner because it’s pouring rain outside and thundering and lightning and she wouldn’t have left the comfort of a roof over her head to go out and eat if she had thought her trip outside would require friggin’ Noah’s Ark.
She’s sure she could get to the car quick enough - but it came in pretty fast so she figures it’ll blow over pretty fast too. She’ll wait the weather out - she doesn’t mind, and this way she can bring something back for Dean and Sam too. Maybe she’ll request they make fresh pie.
She’s contemplating this as she shuffles out of her booth, and is knocked back a few steps nearly as soon as she’s standing up, and as far as she can tell, the impact might have knocked whatever was in the other persons hands down to the floor as well.
She’s the one that was run into, but she still apologizes. “I - uh, my fault, sorry.”
