MAY I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION! VOID DECK UPDATE!
Ok, whew, now that we’re all here.
First, thank you to everyone who has been following along and encouraging me as I continue working on bringing my black cat tarot deck to life. I’ve always dreamed of making something “real” and I feel like you all are loving these kitties into existence. 💛
A couple quick updates on the progress:
1. I have finished writing the companion booklet!
I wasn’t sure how long that would take me but it really came together fast. I still need to put it in layout, but that’s the fun part in my opinion… I am currently trying to figure out what tool I want to use for that since I don’t have a personal indesign subscription and have no desire to get one. I’m looking at Canva and Affinity but am open to suggestions.
2. I am no longer planning to do a kickstarter!
Thanks to the interest people have shown on my website, and some number crunching I am confident I will be able to self fund this without taking on too much risk.
What does that mean? It means we’re getting much MUCH closer! I am not ready to make any promises on timing but once I finish laying out the booklet and package design I will be able to place the order without waiting through a full campaign.
