✨: What motivates them? Is it a deep rooted passion/motivation, or is it something they struggle with from time to time?
I will answer this for Legana.
The motivation for this particular void elf rogue is faceted:- One big (initially the largest) shard of it being revenge on her sister. Legana had a twin sister, Alanrya, who died due to their elder sister Nevana hesitating to shoot an enemy and it cost Alanrya her life. What made things worse, Alanrya was raised to undeath, and Legana always despised the undead and the Forsaken, so her very twin becoming one was just pushing the knife deeper and her hatred of Nevana higher. They actually came to blows before, each losing an eye and scarring the other’s face. It was after this Levana took an offer and decided to use the power of the void, and thus became a void elf. This little family history is not well known.- With her new allies and abilities, she had the perfect tools to enact her revenge, but she met new comrades, some with shared interests, some due to necessity and by luck. Still, comrades became friends, and now their goals are partly her goals as well. Say, if Asha is looking for intel on something, she keeps her ears open and based on her free time actually takes the initiative to gather what she can for him. - The goals of the void elves and the Alliance in general are again to an extent hers as well, though she makes sure to find a playground that most matches her personal goals as well, hence her presence mainly in Darkshore and dealing with Forsaken.- The whispers of the void... well, she doesn’t speak of this, but she hears them too. What influence they have on her? I doN’t know, didn’t ask, and you shouldn’t either or might get stabbed if you pry too far :D
