a soft hiss of pain escapes rilha as the au ra helps disinfect the wound under her instruction. even though the miqo'te was the one who told adrasteia to do this, doesn't mean it didn't hurt any less. it was so unlike rilha to need someone taking care of her, especially the warrior of light, who already had so much to do. the au ra should've been focusing her efforts elsewhere, not patching a medic's wound.

❝ th - thank you . . ❞ rilha breathes out weakly, a hand pressing gauze to the gash on her side where a dragon had slashed her. if it were up to her, she'd heal herself, but the wound took so much out of her, she could barely give any aether to a heal.

as adrasteia helps her wrap bandages, rilha closes her eyes. guilt washes over her, lips quivering before taking a deep breath to calm herself. she will live — but her pride definitely hurts. this wound would put her out of commission for a bit, and the dragonsong war needed all the help it could get. the last thing rilha needed was to be bedridden.

hydrangea :   how much does your muse value communication in their relationships with others ? are they prone to being misunderstood ?

rilha values communication above all else, but she definitely isn't the best at upholding that! she certainly tries her best but she's not one to speak on her feelings and the Trauma(tm) makes her very good at masking. it was a good skill to have in the war times she's been through, since it would make her appear very put together and focused when healing a patient, but it's not a good thing when it comes to her personal relationships.

i would say rilha gets misunderstood pretty often with her feelings to an outsider. but if you're close enough to her, she tries to let down her guard a little bit and you can see her true emotions if you dig a lil deep.
