i flipping LOVED dominoes!! i extra loved kai and sloane sticking up for logan and wanting to protect him all the way back then even when logan thought they all hated him 🥺 so when does corbin's mom realise that it's all real? how does she Deal with all of it? does she ever try to leave once she realises she was basically compelled into wanting to move there? i'm so curious about her!
Corbin realizes first - it’s hard not to, being around Logan, or going over to Thomas’s house full of copper cookware and nearly empty of salt and iron, because he knows the odds of Dot and Larry, two full grown adults, playing a long-game prank on him are very low
Tori, though- Tori’s in denial for months.
Even as the house grows full of unexplained little chaoses (because Tori strictly refuses to listen to her sister and brother-in-law’s pleas to charm it), even as Corbin begins to insist that his friend Logan is a changeling - a changeling of all things, really this is just ridiculous, the Sanders child is clearly just autistic - even as no one in the entire town “breaks character” for even a fraction of a moment, she tries so hard to cling to the idea that she’s being fooled, and then that the whole town is delusional
I;m honestly not sure yet what is Tori’s real wake up call, but its something utterly unexplainable by any mundane conclusion. She probably just straight up sees a whole ass live goblin in her backyard and shrieks loud enough to bring the whole block running
Of course, she immediately tries to move out of Wickhills. But after months and months of houses being sold out from under her and her phone dying or dropping calls every time she tries to call a real estate agent and her car breaking down every time she tries to go to a viewing, she probably goes to her sister
“Wendy, how do we get out of here?”
And Wendy can’t even look at her
“You can’t” she says, “Nobody ever gets out.”
