Hi! I just read what you said about the episode 2 of the second season of skamfr and I will say that I have pretty much the same opinion that you. Except for the girls: you said they were harsh on Daphnee but actually it's really à French thing. We like to make fun of others (it sounds terrible when I write it) but like 'kindly' (?). We have that proverb that is 'qui aime bien châtie bien' that is like 'when you like someone, you tease them'. So that all thing is really relatable for French :)

Hey, thank you for the elaboration! If you mean the thing about her party, that does change my perception of their interaction. I think I’m filtering it with the original show in mind, where I think we were supposed to see Noora as being dismissive of Vilde in that situation but the other girls were more on board with Vilde, but it seemed more like they were siding with Manon in this case. Like I think for Noora it was supposed to be part of a character flaw and therefore I read it the same way for Manon, and the girls reacting similarly to her made it seem more negative. But I get what you’re saying, that makes sense!
