Ramblings about this week's prompts below the cut!

Day 11 - Keeping it simple! I'm trying to do more HK than SS but some of the prompts are just geared more towards the latter. This one though it just couldn't have been anything but the stupid drifter's cloak. I love it.

Day 12 - I really struggled to come up something for key! But I looked through the bugs I had left and this is what I came up with! Pretty pleased with it!

Day 13 - So I actually did this one last because I wanted to wait until I could have access to my watercolours - I'm a bit out of practice and that lighter blue wasn't playing ball but I'm happy with him!

Day 14 - I really do wrack my brain trying to figure out how to make the obviously SS prompts work for HK and luckily I remembered Myla existed! I really like doing the pencil backgrounds.

Day 15 - It really couldn't not be SS related for this one but I really like how the void tendrils turned out! It's hard to keep white spaces when you're colouring in on such a small scale but those highlights really add a lot.

Day 16 - You should have seen me staring at all the HK benches on the wiki and trying to figure out how to get another bug off my list. I honestly think my straight lines and circles are getting better - obviously they always look better before I ink them but I still think my hand is getting a bit steadier.

Day 17 - Ok, confession time. I'm going to say 80% of the time I found the tools to be really unhelpful - they just created too much visual noise on the screen or I'd focus too much on getting in to the right spot to use them and take a hit instead. Unless I could absolutely cheese a boss by spamming a tool (which only happened once or twice) I didn't tend to use them that much. The exception however was using my little cogflies to take down wall enemies so I could safely scarper up!

Voidtober day 1: Mask!

I was gone ease in to drawing again with a simple mask…then I decided to draw my own mask maker.

It's happening again, he mutters to himself as he lays down on the cot his new captain has so generously offered him. It takes him forever to fall asleep, but the rocking of the boat and the dying adrenaline helps.
