Showed my beloved shaker keychain from @hampop to @inkycap and told them who everyone was and these were their comments

•"Imagine carrying a child for 9 months only to name them Custis"

•Them: "Where's the gay one?"

*I point to Daud*

"Them: No, the twink"

Me: "Oh, Kirin Jindosh? He's a Dishonored 2 target, these are Dishonored 1 targets"

Them: "Ohhh okay, I don't know much about that man but I do know that he's a twink"

•Me: *shows them my Custis drawing"

Them: "Yeah, that's a Custis alright. That's his full name- Acustis." *In haughty voice*: "Please, Custis was my father's name."

•"If I were a schoolyard bully, I'd call him Pustis"

•"I've decided he's (Custis) is my mortal enemy. All because of his name."

Bonus:

Them: "I'm gonna draw your twink from memory... I don't know if I'm thinking of the right guy but he has like elf ears and a really bad hairline"

After re-reading my favorite Pendleton fics for the umpteenth time, I love that, despite the many different ways of characterizing the twins, everyone can agree that Custis's "best mind for business" translates to him being good with numbers and being busy at a desk all the time.
