a He stood in front of her nervously almost. It wasn’t quite a date, they were just hanging out, shooting the shit like always. Discussing every and anything that roamed into their heads, sharing snacks and enjoying the sunshine. Sometimes, it was worth it to take the time off. But Hulla was a Warlock, and she had work to do. Really, he did too, of the patrolling variety but he was happy to ignore it for the moment. A whine, infamously pathetic now had been issued in protest but she had coaxed him to his feet and back into action with the promise of continuing this sort of tradition. Well, that worked for him.
He insisted on walking her to her workshop/lab/office whatever the space was that all Warlock’s seemed to have. And that’s where he was standing currently, outside the door, heart it felt trying to forcefully punch out of his body. How rude. “I had a real nice time, Hulla,” he said with a nervous, shy little grin, looking at her quickly. “Lookin’ forward to doin’ it again,” He stooped a little bit, his hand resting on her shoulder gently, carefully and pressed a sweet, gentle kiss to her cheek, blushing furiously behind his curtain of hair. “See you soon, and be careful yeah?” He said it against her skin before standing straight and beaming at her, moving away with a wave over his shoulder before she caught the fire engine red colour of his face.
