Voksmi (crazy cyborg yordle (c) @voksmi-machinist ) and Razka (my Zaunite OC, ask-rifle-and-canon )

This is the 3rd test page for understanding how Mike Mignola, creator of Hellboy, does his art style, how he colors/shades, and how each panel is composed. 

This time I took a slightly different approach in terms of handling people in containers. I didn’t have an awful lot of reference for it, so I used an amalgamation of information and used what I thought was appropriate. 

Admittedly, the Voksmi you see here is different in design and character to the original. However I did my best to simplify Voksmi’s design while keeping trying to stay as true to the original as possible. 

Next is probably Piltover again, or Ionia. I’ll be on vacation for a couple of weeks so I won’t be able to work on those for awhile. See you in 2~3 weeks!

“Ahem, uhh... Voksmi speaking! I created a new modification for my tendril system; that spider incident gave me some inspiration! Anyways, it’s an additional device that fits on top of the current system. Unfortunately, that means it’s less concealable, being visible on top of my coat and all. Also, it’s heavy. Anyways, it provides extra reinforcement to any tendrils I deploy while it’s equipped; it also replaces the tool and other gear with a longer, blade-like structure. Why? For movement! When I have the device equipped, I can use the tendrils as a sort of walker. They can scale walls and let me reach things I normally couldn’t. This will be very useful for constructing larger devices, due to the extra reach and height.”
