Kitra froze for a moment, but she detected Stephen’s scent. Her body relaxed only slightly though and she sighed. A glance was given over her shoulder at him. “Hey,” she murmured.

No threats. No shrugging him off. No punching the other Faunus. Cripes, something was wrong.

"Nah, I've just been gone for too long. Guess it's been long enough to be forgotten, but that's alright... Just coming in to check up on ya. You're one of the only ones left here that I actually know."

“Not long enough...” He murmurs under his breath. “Pretty sad that I’m the only one you know. You could find better, to be honest.”

"You're still skulking around here? Man, this place must have gone to hell... It's good to see you again."

“You’re one to talk,” He scoffed. “If I left and you stuck around, this place really would be hell.” Refusing to turn to face him, he waved him off. “Can’t say the same about you.”
