I’ve long thought Meat Wave’s tight, creative post-hardcore/noise rock was criminally underrated, and Volcano Park is the same. Frantically paced, exhilaratingly performed, thoughtful lyricised, powerfully written – and this time sequenced as one long tune. Again, terrific.
