...you know, I’m not sure if vampires exist in the Fae AU. I want to say I don’t think they do, but this man definitely makes me question that determination of mine. Look at him. Look at him! I mean there’s no way in fuck he’s human, we can be sure of that much.
van Zieks spends the whole trial being disparagingly racist to humans and Naruhodou and Susato are getting an immersive exposure to lots of native English speakers for the first time, and they just keep glancing at each other like “is it normal to use ‘humans’ instead of ‘people’ like this, did you come across this in your studies because I have not”.
