I want to be feminized but I want it to come from a honest place without trance. Is there a ten-step process you’ve acquired for feminization that you can share here?

step 1, follow artists who are themselves trans or make trans art.

step 2, make friends in the community and hear their stories to understand WHY we wanna be girls.

step 3, lean into the memes. blahaj, programmer socks, petplay jokes and kitty noises, stimming and autism positivity, realtime fandubs.

step 4, buy little accessories for yourself. panties, skirt to try "skirt go spinny", thigh highs, plushtoys.

step 5, look into Planned Parenthood (if you live in the states) and learn just how easy it is to set up virtual counseling and get a hormone prescription.

step 6, weigh the pros and cons of taking estrogen. pros: softer skin, softer hair, growing boobas, thicker thighs, more shapely body if ya got the fat to redistribute, easier connection to your feelings, better feelings of intimacy. cons: the boobies stay even if you stop taking, if you keep taking you have a weakness to the cold, your voice wont change automatically.... so MOSTLY good things

step 7, just start taking it, why not? it could be fun, and you can always back out if you dont like. a liiiitle extra booba sticking around after is fine anyway, not like you'd take for very long and get BIG booba before stopping. and if you DONT stop... huh... you dont really HAVE to stop do you? it could be fun to stay this way

step 8, are you trans? wasnt this to be a femboy? what would the difference be anyway... you guess wearing dresses could work either way, and hormones would just be a fun addative. dont people say gender is bullshit anyway? maybe it doesnt matter.

step 9, regardless of label, this is fun! you're trying new things, and life feels more fulfilling. you didnt even need hypnosis!

get your ears pierced, my pre-transition GF got some recently, and she wore them during sexting cuz the connection to femininity made her feel beautiful and she LOVED that. if you in a household that doesnt allow fem clothing then thats a solid start for something you can wear out of the house.

find your bra size and get a bra, my go to are cotton sports bras by fruit of the loom

get some panties, or possibly bloomers if you see any in your size cuz god DAMN are frills hawt

get a messenger bag, something cute. its a sort of easy "gender neutral" way to carry your wallet and such, but folks WILL call it a purse as you start passing. mine is legit just a blue messenger bag from army surplus, might get some patches or embroidery for it sometime

catgirl hoodie if you can find one in your size out of a decent material, something obviously fem but also serving the same psychological function as a dysphoria hoodie, hiding features you dont like

if you a furry? fuck it. dog collar, cat tail, themed facemask, fake nail claws, fucking wear bondage bracelets as if they punk or gothy fashion, why not?

and do your best to get stuff NOW, cuz you can easily push that stuff to next payday thinking any number of other purchases are more pressing, THEY ARE NOT.
