Everyone would be so excited for their first Thanksgiving in space
Coran and Allura never celebrated it before, so they were the most excited to try an Earth holiday
Keith wouldn’t want to admit it, but he was excited for the first Thanksgiving that would be more than just him and his dad
Hunk and Coran would be the ones cooking, Hunk doing most of the cooking
Allura would be the one decorating the entire castle
Shiro, being the dad he is, would make the table and help serve the food
Pidge would be sure to keep everyone on task and make sure they would be able to get through all the stuff they had planned
Lance would just be lazily cheering everyone on since he didn’t want to do anything. I mean, back home with his big family, he would have to do a billion different things, he was happy for the break
Lance would be playing some music. Mostly classical and other soothing things but he took the opportunity to get in that good Cuban music
When the food was finally ready, everyone was thankful
They’ve been preparing and setting up stuff all day
Everyone sat down and instantly began to scoff everything down, the room filling with chatter
Once everyone was done, they just sat there for a bit telling stories of what they did back home for Thanksgiving
They’d end up taking the story time to their living room area
Pidge wrote down a few things each Paladin would say, smiling softly at their stories
When everyone was done, Pidge announced some other things they could do
One thing being: games
The first one they decided to play was Monsters and Mana
Everyone had already known how to play except for Keith
They played a couple rounds of that before moving onto something else
Hide n seek
This game was Hunk’s and Lance’s favorite growing up
They explained the game to Coran and Allura before everyone started to argue of who would be the seeker
Shiro finally decided he’d do it just to get everyone to shut up and so that they could play
They played that until everyone had been the seeker at least once
They played a couple more games before deciding to watch some movies
Since there weren’t too many Thanksgiving-themed movies that they could think of, they all agreed on scary movies for the most part
This is what it looked like practically through every scary movie:
Lance clinging to Keith but Lance saying he was doing it to ‘comfort’ Keith
Allura and Coran clinging to each of Shiro’s sides
Hunk practically being in Pidge’s lap
Pidge in almost every part of the movie would point out and say that one part scientifically didn’t make sense. It would get annoying but would also help to comfort the ones that were scared
After watching a couple of movies, everyone began to grow tired
Going to sleep, everyone had a smile on their face
Pretty sure it was one of the best Thanksgivings they ever had
