Hi can I have cuddle s/O headcannons for all the paladin's thank you extra credit for lots of fluff

hunk (ᵕ≀ ̠ᵕ )

cuddling hunk would be like having a body pillow. he’s a big guy and he doesn’t really mind, so when he gets good use out of that extra body he kind of feels better about himself. 

usually he’s the big spoon and you’re the small spoon because he’s just quite big and its always hard to wrap your arms around him. 

he really doesn’t mind though. he loves holding you tight. protecting you from the danger in closet, under the bed, in the space around you two. 

he holds your hands tight while in bed, so that you both feel connected in a way.

sometimes there isn’t even a spoon, you’re both faced each other and in a position similar to hugging that goes down. 

cuddling with him is usually very innocent, legs don’t really get tangled, thighs barely touch, et cetera. 

keith ☜(`o´)

keith isn’t much of a cuddler so you have to push him into it, and usually you have to make deals with him to cuddle. 

‘ill give you a kiss on the lips if you cuddle with me.’ ‘three.’ ‘fine.’

it’s always a back and forth, where do i go and where do you go.

cuddling is not a concept he fully understands. 

he likes being the big spoon but often times he’s the small spoon because its part of the deal. he enjoys protecting you but he also likes to be pampered too. 

when he’s not having a good day he’ll bring you into his bed and ask for you to cuddle with him. these are both your favorite and least favorite nights. since he’s so kind and sad.

lance is probably the worst about cuddling because he always thinks it will go to the next level. touched his thigh, oh you totally want it. kiss his cheek, makeout ses, babe?

he’s just a big cheese ball and never knows good timing. 

always the little spoon tbh. he just wants to be held in someone’s arms ;^) and yours are the best. (and honestly he sometimes gets a boner but doesnt want you to know.)

he loves when you sing him to sleep, your breath ghosting over his neck and your hand petting his hair down. 

when you ask him to be the big spoon for the night, something’s obviously up because you’re ever only upset if you want to be the big spoon. though he’ll never ask, just hold you. 

your legs will often get tangled in the night, and often times you wonder if lance did it on purpose.

pidge loves cuddling!! honest and truly when they get to cuddle you its like a dream come true. 

often times it doesn’t happen because either one of you will be working so it makes it even better. (now, they aren’t super on board with other people touching them though.)

there’s an equal amount of big spoon / small spoon amongst the two of you and they really enjoy both ways. pidge being the big spoon shows their dominance in the relationship but being the small spoon shows their enjoyment of being with you. 

cuddling usually never ensues in the bed but when the paladins are watching a movie and you two end up on the couch side by side. pidge usually knocks lance off so the two of you can lay together. 

if you fall asleep first, pidge likes to test the scientific nature of your sleep. like trying to tell if your dreaming, how fast your heart is beating, if pulling the blankets off makes you move around, et cetera. 

when pidge is asleep you like to play around with their hair, make sure their glasses are off, they’re not running fever, et cetera.

shiro ᕙ(▀̿̿Ĺ̯̿̿▀̿ ̿) ᕗ

shiro enjoys cuddling because it reminds him that he’s not alone in the night. after being alone for so long on the galra ship it’s not a good feeling when you’ve gone. 

you try to stay in bed with him for most of the night, only going to the bathroom once if you really need to and staying until he wakes up to get up. 

you are never allowed to be the big spoon, it’s always shiro. even when he’s not feeling great, he has to make sure he always looks strong to you. make sure your always turned away from his face.

he likes to stroke your skin sometimes, feeling how real you are underneath his fingertips. he always gets frustrated when the two of you lay when his prothestic is upwards and he can’t feel that smooth skin or soft hair.

when shiro has bad dreams, he’ll squeeze a bit too hard around your waist, waking you. you’ll turn with a slight grunt and stroke his face until the cold sweat starts to fade and you smile, putting your head in his chest. he hates finding you that way because he knows then he’s hurt you.

and since youre both adults (*coughs*), you both sleep in your underwear (and bra?) because its just more comfortable than hanging around in uncomfortable t-shirts and pyjama pants.

hunk enjoys sitting in the room while you are voice acting. usually he lays on the bed with you and throws suggestions your way.

‘maybe you should lower your voice’

‘act like your about to punch lance in the face, that’ll really be good.’

you love his suggestions but sometimes there are too many and you have to kick him out.

he always listens to your group’s dub of comics.

keith, honestly, has no idea what you are doing. he just thinks you’re reading the comic outloud to yourself. 

‘why do you keep talking so loud while reading that?’ ‘keith, im voice acting!’ ‘what? since when?’

‘_____! time to go!’ ‘seriously keith? i have the sign on my door.’ ‘what sign?’

he honestly forgets five minutes after telling him what you do.

you often times get annoyed with him. he’ll be so oblivious to you trying to work, he’d just make a bunch of noise and you’d glare the hell out of him.

lance tries to mess you up 24/7. you’ll be on your laptop reading your lines and he’ll scare the heck out of you. or he’ll kiss your neck, or smth. 

‘lance please, this is not the time.’ ‘but _____, i love you!!’ ‘yeah, whatever.’

lance enjoys your comics but doesnt like when you get rude with him. 

lance also gets jealous of the other lead who’s your romantic interest. but you’re not the va’s romantic interest. it makes you crack up.

he always has to ask what’s coming next because he’s really excited but nothing changes. 

pidge Σ(-᷅_-᷄๑)

pidge is actually apart of the group as well, so you help each other out. 

‘(c/n)! we have to get out of here before you’re hurt!’ ‘no! we can’t leave without james!’ 

often times shiro will barge in thinking youre hurt which is always an interesting sight. 

if you and pidge have a scene together it’s always the best because you jump around the room and do the scene together.

sometimes you have so much fun you don’t even realize how bad the va is because of your panting and stomping around and have to do it over, calmer. 

shiro ᕙ(▀̿̿Ĺ̯̿̿▀̿ ̿) ᕗ

shiro is supportive but doesn’t really understand what you’re doing, like keith. 

‘so, what is it your doing?’ ‘dubbing.’ ‘but it’s a comic strip.’ ‘it’s kind of like having a guide while reading the comic.’ 

he’ll have you sit on his lap while you read of your lines. he loves listening to your voice as you think up how to reenact them. 

shiro tried to va once. it was pretty terrible. he was so stiff and tense. 

shiro also tries to find ways to help you smile while reading your lines so you would put more emotion into your lines.

bar soap and strawberry-pineapple shampoo.

an altean flower that smells both sweet and bitter at the same time.

that lingering smell of water in the air when you enter an indoor pool.

mustache wax.

hours of drinking coffee.

fresh clothes, hot and straight from the dryer.

the harsh smell of metal

the last meal he just cooked. 

the smoke from a fire, trying to teach lance how to cook.

sweat and tears.

a very faint inkling of any kind of cologne. 

the musty smell of books from hiding out in the library.

hair products, face masks, bubble baths. 

chlorine from swimming around in allura’s pool.

a very large dose of cologne. (not headache inducing but you know when he walks into a room.)

yes i absolutely agree. i want to see everyones family. this ended up becoming a headcannon as i answered this.

hunk (ᵕ≀ ̠ᵕ )

i feel like hunk would have a big family but not very close. 

it would all be his mom family’s though. he doesn’t have a dad, he walked out when he was younger.

his mom was the one who taught him how to cook and he really respects her.

i always think of hunk as being hawaiian so he and his mom probably go to tourist luaus once a month and he goes to hula dance classes.

well, we’ve met keith’s dad. sorry, i literally don’t see him as texan, and even if he is not like cowboys and horses. not everyone in texas is like that. :^/

anyway, keith would have grown up with just his dad. his mom being galra would have never really had contact with the two after having keith since the galra found out about her illegitimate child. it’s absolute treason that she would taint herself in such a way.

keith would have lived in that small house we saw, the town smaller but his dad always noticed how well he did riding things. they packed up and moved into the city so keith could go into the garrison.

his dad got sick and passed while keith was away and he could never forgive himself, so he ran away into the desert where he would be alone. shiro, too, went missing around the same time and he was like a brother to keith so it really hurts when he leaves.

so we all know lance is apart of a huge family and they all seem fairly close. 

honestly, i feel like lance’s parents and his aunt and uncle decided to get a big house together so everyone could live with another because they’re so close. 

lance is probably the big brother to all the kids (even if he’s not) so when he’s out with his friends he tends to take on a more childish personality. that’s why he is such a joker with the paladins, he’s just used to that lifestyle.

pidge Σ(-᷅_-᷄๑)

pidge has a pretty 80′s sit-com kind of family. dorky  father and brother with a smart mother who doesn’t really apply herself and then katie who should be the respectable girl she is but ends up getting herself wrapped up into things she shouldn’t.

when matt and her father left for the stars it was just katie and her mother. she told her everything. how she was going to infiltrate the garrision, become a boy, et cetera. 

her mother didn’t really mind and helped devise a plan to help her get in, although she never saw her daughter come out. though sometimes, even after her daughter went missing, she still gets messages on her laptop saying she was alright.

shiroᕙ(▀̿̿Ĺ̯̿̿▀̿ ̿) ᕗ

shiro was probably old enough to live on his own by the time he was taken on the galra ship. so, he doesn’t worry about going home as much. 

shiro was raised by someone who he’d have a very loose relationship with, like a grandmother or uncle. where he loved them but it was very distant. it’s why he never seems homesick. even on the ship he wasn’t wishing for his parents, he was just hoping to be alive.

probably thinks they’re really cool. 

he loves being the only one who sees them although seeing them means feeling them so he gets knocked over from time to time and no one understands why???

loves to occasionally brush them when you’re not looking.

is really stunned when he first sees them. 

thinks he’s seeing things and doesn’t know what to do. like yOU  HAVE WINGS?! WTH?!?!?! 

after a while of him skidding around you, you finally ask what’s up and you explain that the wings are part of your culture. come out when you come to trust someone.

can’t make sense of it so he just makes stupid flirty comments, like “did it hurt when you fell from heaven?”, you just look at him in confusion because… what is hev-an??

he enjoys playing with them when there’s nothing to do, just pets them and its really soothing and you love the feeling. 

he always ask if you can fly him around but you always shoot him down.

pidge Σ(-᷅_-᷄๑)

looks at the analytic side of it all the time to cover up her absolute girly side to the matter. she’s like a kid seeing a fairy tale come to life in her head. she imagines the two of you flying around together in the sky, et cetera.

but all that comes out of her mouth is “how are you able to support your body weight with those wings? all of your bones would have to be hollow in order to fly…”

it’s a lot of fun when she gets flustered when you catch her daydreaming about the fairy tale aspect though. 

shiro ᕙ(▀̿̿Ĺ̯̿̿▀̿ ̿) ᕗ

he’s pretty chill about the whole ordeal. you had explained them to him beforehand so he wasn’t terribly shocked.

he enjoys stroking your spine, between your wings where you react the most. it’s cute.

(this last one is kind of spoilery to season 2 so im putting it under the cut. it’s only one for shiro.)

when he gets his own wings on his lion he feels a bit more connected to you and you help him out with understanding them.

hunk is a hunk tbh

- that boy is just an absolute ray of sunshine who needs to be given a break ok

- he is so sweet

- he is so cute and i will fight you if you say otherwise

- like he wants to go home but then he realizes that the Galra empire is literally the worst, like once he sees it he knows he has to do something

- and he calls Shay a hero and damn right she is

- shay was cute too

- okay this boy has had enough of that weird green sludge they were feeding him and makes a decent meal out of alien ingredients and that is so cool

- he’s worried about his little family

- he’s always bugging pidge and that is some good shit

- the voice of reason who no one listens to and is sucked into adventure but like i think he enjoys it

- my little baby is a genius like he is so smart and strong and underappreciated

- this ray of sunshine is friends with everyone

- he is so full of love that he has no trouble sharing it with his teammates when they’re down

- he’s definitely a dog person but like he likes cats too

- i think he does impersonations tbh

- like it started out as a joke to make fun of Lance or Pidge but he was really good at it and its kinda scary

- I think hunk wants someone to ask how he’s doing bc he’s always been that shoulder to cry on, he’s always supporting others and the idea that the team is there for him is so foreign but once he realizes it he’ll be so overjoyed

- hunk probably makes jokes about being a hunk and tries to be funny

- like someone says ‘a hunk of cheese’ and hunk just magically appears

- i bet they have arm wrestling competitions and Hunk is the 2nd best, he always gets beaten by Allura but hey he’s chill about it

- remember when hunk got really serious in order to save Shay like he was really suspicious of those aliens they met and he turned out being right, i think he’s a really good judge of character like he’s really observant and and protective of his family but he always tries to give people the benefit of the doubt

- the poor guy gets motion sick 

- he hates roller coaster and boats but on Earth he always tried to have fun with his friends bc he’s such a good guy

- he’s very anxious whenever he’s breaking the rules, like with Lance and Pidge when they were going to save Shiro and Hunk wanted to go back to bed i think he’s lowkey nauseous whenever he’s doing something he’s not suppose to be doing

- hunk and lance are brothers fight me they are basically brothers, and pidge is included in this pidge is an honorary sibling in hunk’s eyes okay

- after the whole saving shay and her living planet hunk becomes much more environmentally friendly to new planets he’s careful not to litter or damage any nature or wildlife in fights
