The idea of the Black Wulf being discovered in the castle catacombs quickly led me to the question of "why was it stashed away?"

Project Cataclysm. In the unlikely event that Voltron was released and failed, the Black Wulf would be sent out. A final failsafe/last resort, basically. A soldier that doesn't need food, water or air to survive, one that can heal at unnatural speeds and doggedly pursue enemies across the universe until they break or stop to rest, systematically hunting members of the Galra down.

Sort of an Altean Super Soldier program, but worse. And the only test subject to survive.

Wulf is stashed in the catacombs under the hope and prayer of never needing to be deployed, and then forgotten, and Danny gets a nice 10,000 years of pain free, uninterrupted sleep.

it's always insane to remember how much the writers hated Lance

lance professors talked so abusively to him

he never got to confront them

they gave him his best friend blue to just snatch her away

they made him switch lions by having blue reject him

he never connected with red

Keith abandoned him after they had connected and made Lance feel like shit because he already felt like the 7th wheel keith leaving to make space for him did NOT help

they never talked about this

he had no real pot arc after season 1

his friends froze him out of their trio

no one bated an eye at shiro screaming at him

he got replaced by matt real quick

oh yeah HE DIED

no one ever knew or talked about it

he was alluras second choice

allura died and MADE HIM ALTEAN?

he almost died again and his lion didn't even save him

He threw away all his dreams, was consumed by grief, and became a farmer never able to move on from the pain and no one AGAIN bated an eye.

this is worth supporting because it lets dreamworks know that we want and will buy their 2010s reboot shows, especially if they include everything. following that, hopefully they will do the same for she-ra (assuming it’s sold by the same parent company and not the exclusive franchise name).

that being said, if you’re still looking for a (bootleg) bluray set for “she-ra and the princesses of power”, monsterlandmedia has opened up orders again starting today after catching up on their schedule ─ but be quick, because they’ll stop once they’re overloaded again and that likely won’t take very long!

NOTE: this site also offers voltron, which i was initially considering to get, but i do insist that you should now purchase the official product instead unless you specifically want bluray, and if you're willing to wait an indefinite amount of time for she-ra to potentially do the same for all 5 seasons (or okay with having a spare like i am) then i think that's also ideal. after all, no offense and with fair respect to these third-party sellers, but if we genuinely want to own the media we like in physical form then we tend to use them as an only option (or make it ourselves) ─ excluding any boycott-related reasons.

I don't understand why people are still obsessed with klance when Pidge Gunderson (MY GOAT) is objectively the best thing to ever come out of that show. I have genuinely not encountered a character like Her before or since. Where are my Pidge stans? Where are the people who are obsessed with her like I am? Where are her angsty aus? Where is my Pidge whump? Can anybody hear me? WHY IS HER TAG FLOODED WITH THAT GODFORSAKEN SHIP?
