It wasnt even the shipping itself, it was ppl looking at this grown ass man and the brotherly bond he had with someone that he did indeed see as a little brother and thinking "they're dating" bitch where?
But yeah it was a mess but I absolutely loved the designs for some of the aliens, especially the galra.

I haven’t watched VLD since season one and have no plans to catch up anytime soon, but the news coming out of SDCC says that Shiro is canonically gay and has a fiancee named Adam?!

How did you discover the show?
My sister @percabeth4evrfan actually watched it first, so she’s where I heard about it. Then I started seeing the characters - through her - and I thought Shiro looked really awesome, and I thought he probably had a pretty interesting story (I like my men damaged, don’t judge me), so that got me interested in watching it. And then finding out that Keith was voiced by Glenn’s (twd) actor Steven Yuen, was kinda just icing on the cake.
Was it love at first sight or did it take you a while to get into the the show?
Love at first sight. I binged all four of the seasons that were out in two days.
Do you have a favorite episode?
Across the Universe. Hands down. Favorite.
Do you have a favorite paladin?
Shiro! And Keith of course, but Shiro is definitely #1.
Do you have a favorite Lion? (If it’s different from your fav Paladin, why?)
Black. I love the fact that it has wings, and I think that it’s extra powers are really cool as well.
Do you have a favorite villain?
I think Acxa is pretty cool. She reminds me of Azula from Avatar the Last Air Bender for some reason, so that’s probably why.

Probably the Alteans.
Favorite side / other character(s)- Rebels, Generals, Blade of Marmora, Garrison, etc?
I love the blades, but i’m probably gonna have to say the rebels because I like that they are a whole mix of different groups working together against the Galra.
How/Why did you join the fandom?
Shiro, and Steven Yuen being the VA of Keith.
Care to share your favorite headcanon?
Sheith counts as a headconon, right? Because it isn’t actually canon in the show? (high key hoping it does become canon though)
What do you think is the best part of the show?
I love the characters, and the diversity, and the story (i’m a sucker for anything with aliens and battles), so yeah, I don’t have a best part of the show. I just love it all.
Any hopes and wishes for future episodes / seasons?
Sheith becomes canon...and Keith finally comes back to pilot red.
Also, please LEAVE SHIRO ALONE. Dude has been through enough, and I swear if they kill him off in the end, i’m gonna have a fit.

As long as they don’t kill off Shiro or Keith, then yeah.
