Hi guys

So I originally was not intending to post this.

But I’ve been intending to read dirty laundry for a LONG time, so when it was taken down I was a little disappointed.

BUT

There’s a website called the wayback machine. It’s an internet archive that lets you look back at how countless websites looked at various times when saved. And Dirty Laundry is on there!! The link is here.

I read it yesterday and today for the first time and cried about four times.

Now: the reason I didn’t want to post this, was that the author had a reason to delete the fic. I didn’t want to spread it around more than they wanted. But people are posting it on wattpad, linking to it on FanFiction.Net, and other things.

A repost deliberately says “I saw what the artist wanted and decided to repost it anyways,” and the reposter gets views (or hits or whatever) on that content.

The web archive essentially says “this is what the AO3 page looked like in December.” No one gets hits or views, and it’s accurate; it’s not at all subject to errors in reposting.

Now I feel guilty for posting this and I felt guilty for reading it. But if you’re going to read or reread this fic, please read it here.

I thought I was a true Klance fan ya know. But I’m reading the supposed ‘Klance Bible’, a lil something called “Dirty Laundry” and I’m starting to realize that like 30-40% of the fan art I have been avidly reblogging and liking is based around that fic. Like, how did I not ever realize this?? I’m not even half way through and i’m noticing a bunch of stuff and it’s like: ‘wow, there’s fan art of this moment. oh and that one too holy heck!”  It truly is something great guys. I now see why some of you guys are printing it.

I’ll be honest guys, uni has been on hell of a burden lately, but one of these days “Forever Young” came up on the radio and I realised I’ll never be over Dirty Laundry... It’s been a while since I read it so I don’t know if I did justice to this fantastic scene

So I was rereading dirty laundry and I paused while reading the scene where abuela calls Keith a shrimp. For some reason instead of what actually happened my imagination insisted that the scene went something like this: "shrimp! If Keith's a shrimp then I'm a shrimp. I'm skinnier than he is! Besides look at his abs." Lance reaches for the hem of Keith's shirt. "Lance no" Keith swats lance's hand away. "You are not showing your grandmother my abs!"
