Okay but deeply affectionate 💋 reader and fiercely protective Demetri
Have a tiny sweet drabble dear Anon 🫶🏻 no warnings apply!
She was placing her hand on his chest. Feeling the warmth in the fur from Demetri’s coat. Looking up at him she creased her brows and parted her lips, she adored him, loved him. Demetri was her forever love.
“Stay safe while out there,” she whispered, standing on her toes to kiss his cheek. Her hand now touching his jaw.
Demetri couldn’t help but sigh and close his eyes. The touch of his love was everything to him. Encouragement and proof of what he was to do was necessary. He had to go to war for his coven, protect the very future they always had protected. A future for their kind and for humankind alike, a future with peace and prosperity for them.
He leant into the kiss, holding her hand to feel her skin against his.
Demetri would do anything for her, his love. He would fight every single enemy and endure torment for eternity if he had to, just to keep her safe. Her heart was most important to him.
“I will be back before you know it. Please, stay inside the walls when I am gone.”
She cupped both his cheeks now, so close to his face their noses touched. She wanted to cry, she couldn’t bear the thought of losing him. Every time he left to protect his coven or the law his masters made centuries ago, she was always worried for his life. Whether he came back dead or scarred for life; both options sounded awful to her. Oh, how she wished she could keep him here. Tucked away in her arms forever. She planted a kiss on his nose, giggling when he sighed.
“I cannot wait without being worried, dear. Stay near Felix, you protect each other so well.”
Demetri kissed her back, then her cheek. Upon hearing her sighs he kissed the crown of her head as well and the palm and back of her hand. Every part of her he could easily reach at the moment.
“I promise, my love.”
“Good.”
He tugged her closer if possible, giving her one more kiss before departing. Demetri knew that when he would return, she would not let him leave her chambers. Utterly devoted, she would kiss and hug him for days. Leaving prints all over his body as to show to others that he is hers only. Demetri dared to quickly bite her neck after the last kiss. Marking her to show the guards staying behind, that she is very well his as much as he is hers. It made her giggle.
“You know where to find me when you return, my dearest.”
“Sweetheart,” he groaned.
He had to go. But Demetri couldn’t wait to return to his mate’s affections, to be in her arms once again. She was everything he lived for.

___
Angry…angry and jealous. That describes your current situation. Since Athenadora showed up for a “friendly” visit, your life seemed to be going to hell!
Going? It’s already gone.
You thought coldly as Athenadora laughed over something Caius said. Rolling your eyes, you tried to stay focused on the book that you were reading. When you did look up, Aro was giving you a sympathetic expression while Marcus glared at Caius. It was pretty bad when even Marcus was annoyed.
From the moment that Caius’ ex showed up, the other woman seemed to be anywhere and everywhere Caius was. He was talking to her more than he did to you on a good day. To make matters worse, the two of you were barely spending any time together. Whenever Caius tried to spend time with you, Athenadora showed up (like some bad disease). He had barely been able to kiss you, let alone have any intimate time alone.
After a week, you had stopped even trying to get your lover’s attention. Clearly, he wasn’t interested in you in the slightest. You had tried to tell yourself that they had a history and a long one at that, so, of course, they would have things to talk. After a while, however, you had lost whatever kindness that you had within yourself.
While she hadn’t said anything threatening about your relationship, actions spoke louder than words. Athenadora didn’t seem to care that you were Caius’ wife now. All she seemed to be interested in was shoving it in your face that she had a better relationship (even when they weren’t together) than you ever had. She would give you a coy little smile as if daring you to say one word against her.
You focused your attention back on Aro and gave him a nod. Something told you that Aro would have some choice words for Caius later. You didn’t care either. Maybe Aro could pull that stick out of Caius’ ass and make him realize just what was happening.
Athenadora giggling finally made you have enough. You closed your book and stood up without a word. Caius’ eyes rolled to you, inquiring where you were going. Without looking at him, you bid Aro a good evening before leaving the room without another word.
Once in the comfort of your bedroom, you began to pace the room. You were filled with nothing but rage and the sheer desire to go back downstairs and pull all of Athenadora’s blonde hair out of her head.
Clearly, it won’t do any good.
You thought calmly, sitting down. Would Caius take her back if she wanted to return? Where would that leave you? Caius had turned you years before, but would that matter to him if Athenadora wanted to resume their relationship?
“Like hell I am going to stick around for that. I am not about to sit and watch them be all over each other. I would rather be on my own.”
You said out loud. Admitting those words was a lot different than thinking them. You had never been on your own. From the time that Caius turned you, you had always been with him. The prospect of being alone was both terrifying and intriguing. You could go somewhere that you had never been before. Maybe see some things you always wanted to see but never got around to it?
Walking to the vanity, you opened the top drawer in search of the blue contacts that you had hidden for when you left the safety of home. There was no way that you could be running about with red eyes. Like hell you would make some spectacle of yourself that would result in your death. No one was worth risking your life over anymore.
You waited silently for a moment before walking to the window and opening it. The last thing that you wanted was to be halfway out the window and Caius walk in. You could see the pissed-off expression on his face in your mind.
What excuse would I even use? Oh, I’m just out here to kill myself? Oh, wait, I’m already dead…carry on.
You thought with a silent chuckle. Caius wouldn't find it funny. He would probably lock you in the bedroom for the next few months for a stunt like this.
He was going to be pissed enough when he read the epic goodbye letter that you had left on the bed (along with your wedding ring). Actually seeing you hopping out the window would only result in your punishment.
After hearing no footsteps in the hallway, you decided that if you were going to leave, this was the moment. Taking a breath, you hopped out of the window without another thought. Once you were safely on the ground, you put your shields up. You had never been more thankful for your gift of shielding than you were right now. Hopefully, you could keep Caius and Demetri off of your trail. Glancing over your shoulder, you waited a moment longer before disappearing into the darkness.
An hour or so later, Caius stepped into the bedroom. He had been on an epic quest to find you for a while. You weren’t in any of your usual places.
“Darling?”
Caius sighed, seeing no sign of you in the bedroom either. He knew that you were frustrated with him. All it took was looking at your face. Caius only wished that you would realize that there was nothing between Athenadora and him anymore. He didn’t have any feelings for her other than tolerance.
The gleam of your wedding ring caught his attention. With a frown, Caius walked to where the ring lay on top of a paper with his name on it. Picking up the letter, Caius was silent for a moment before the realization of your words hit home.
You were gone. You had left him.
“This better be some kind of joke that I don’t understand.”
Caius said coldly before turning and storming back to the throne room, where Aro sat talking to Marcus.
“Are the two of you in on it? Think this is funny, do you?”
Aro raised an eyebrow.
“In on what?”
Caius practically threw the letter at Aro before beginning to pace like a ravenous lion. Aro raised an eyebrow before reading over the letter. With wide eyes, he passed it over to Marcus, who had the same reaction.
“We aren’t in on anything, brother. Are you positive that Y/n has vanished?”
Caius nodded, shaking in rage.
“She left without her wedding ring. Demetri!”
Demetri stepped into the room with Felix behind him.
“Yes? You called?”
Caius stopped pacing. He had to find you and fast. You had never been on your own without him. What if someone or something tried to harm you? He wouldn’t be able to live with himself if you were hurt.
“We are going to find Y/n. We are going to find her and drag her home where she belongs.”
Demetri and Felix gave each other wary expressions, clearly figuring out what was going on. Aro quickly stood up to intervene.
“You have no idea where she’s gone.”
Caius stared at Aro as if he were the dumbest being he had ever met.
“That’s why I’m going to look for her. Make sure Athenadora is gone before I get back.”
Aro shook his head.
“Caius, let Demetri go track her. He should go instead of you being out terrorizing the village.”
Demetri frowned as he tried to lock onto anything about you he could. The moment he stepped out of the door, everything went blank. It was as if you vanished in a puff of smoke.
“Caius, she has her shields up. She is blocking everything. I can’t see where she is or where she’s going. Until she drops them, I’m locked out.”
Caius didn’t wait for Aro to object before angrily walking outside and into the darkness.
Three weeks later…
You had been on your own for three weeks. In three weeks, you had been to multiple countries while successfully avoiding Demetri and Felix. You had nearly been caught a few times but always got away right in time.
Seeing Demetri and Felix so worried made you feel guilty for avoiding them. Caius was probably back in Volterra, giving them hell for always turning up empty-handed. Maybe in time, you could find a way to apologize to them for causing so much trouble.
You were slowly learning how to make it on your own without Caius hovering. Hunting wasn’t as hard as it seemed. You had learned to use your good looks to your advantage. Conning men and even women into “going outside for some air” was a lot easier than you had planned.
Even when you weren’t hunting, you found yourself sitting in bars observing humans and their interactions. You found yourself forgetting a lot of the details from your mortal life. After growing up in an abusive home with an alcoholic father, remembering details like going out with friends or what “you enjoyed” was nearly a foreign concept.
After watching mortals enough for one night, you turned to leave the bar without a word to anyone around you. The streets were fairly empty at 1 am on a Saturday. You turned to go back to the hotel room that you were renting for the week before moving on to the next stop on your “Y/n sees the world” tour.
“Well, well, well…look who it is.”
You stopped walking and turned to see Stefan and Vladimir looking at you with matching looks of contempt.
“If it isn’t the blonde maniac’s little guardian angel.”
Vladimir said with a sneer. You quickly put your shield up before stepping backwards.
“Stefan, Vladimir, what a lovely time to meet…again.”
You commented, keeping your voice calm. Stefan and Vladimir were no strangers to you. Their hatred of the Volturi was also no secret to you. You had witnessed the shared hatred between your family and what was left of the Romanian coven early in your life.
“We are shocked that Caius let you out of his sight. Here you are all alone and unprotected.”
Stefan said with a chuckle. Keeping your expression as neutral as possible, you sighed.
“It will surprise you to know that I know how to cross the street on my own. I’m not a little girl. You know, I think the only thing that the two of you have going for you is that sexy accent.”
Vladimir laughed.
“Don’t try to flatter us, Y/n.. It's too bad you reek of Italian scum.”
You shrugged.
“I suppose that's what happens when you are rolling around in bed with someone.”
You couldn’t help but laugh at the grossed-out expressions on Vladimir and Stefan’s faces. Vladimir recovered first.
“I see Caius didn’t tell you not to mess with beings thousands of years older than you, sweetheart. You can keep your little shield up as long as you want, but eventually you will let it fall. We can stand here for eternity, if you would like. You won’t be going back to Volterra alive. That deranged maniac of a husband of yours will have to find someone else to watch his back…maybe go find himself another guardian angel”
Your eyes fluttered between Stefan and Vladimir. The sting about Caius finding another “guardian angel” hurt. While neither man truly knew the reason that you were out here on your own, you did. The sting of Caius ignoring you for Athenadora was still fresh in your mind.
Swallowing back the pain, you weren’t going to let Vladimir or Stefan see you falter.
“So…boys…what do we do? Sit here and stare at each other for eternity? Won’t that get a little boring?”
Stefan stepped closer. His angry red eyes looked on your face.
“It will be a joy seeing the expression on Caius’ face when he realizes that it was I who killed you. I’ll be returning the favor for the witch twins killing my wife. A queen for a queen…”
“Hell will freeze over first.”
You froze, hearing that voice. Vladimir and Stefan spun around, seeing Caius glaring at them with Felix, Demetri, Jane, and Alex behind him.
“We found something that belongs to you.”
Vladimir said coldly. You turned your attention back to your lover, who looked angrier than you had ever seen. His red eyes were focused on Vladimir, waiting for any excuse to attack the other man.
“I’m taking her back, then tearing the two of you to shreds.”
Caius replied coldly before walking directly to you. The look on his face alone showed you how angry he was. He made sure that you were unharmed before turning to Alec.
“Alec, get her out of here.”
Caius said before shoving you forward. Alec had his arm around yours in an instant.
“We should go.”
He replied before forcing you away from the scene without another word…
I'm crazy is all I could think about as I stood by myself at night in what looked like a sex trafficking target spot. I thought people would be out at night for the bars or restaurants but no, not one soul was out just my dumbass to see possible Italian mobster. I was right under the clock tower just like he said right in the perfect line of view for a kidnapper. The place was empty and here I was standing in the middle of the place clear view for anyone. It felt like a place a sniper has a bullseye on my forehead right now.
"When you know, you know..." The possible criminal is late, my feet started to wandered to the fountain near by.
"When you know, you know" I sit down on the side of it.
"It kinda makes me laugh, runnin' down that path" My hand runs through the water in the moonlight.
"When you're good as gold....Cause when you know, you know" I hummed along until I could feel a presence looking down at me.
"When you're old, you're old.....Like Hollywood and me, the diamond on your ring...The soul that you bring to the table" I looked up at his fascinating eyes. He was staring at me but it wasn't in a creep way. It was like he was admiring the view...I was it.
"One that makes me sing...In a minor key...Cause when you know, you know" He started to speak but I couldn't hear him. I slowly took out my earpods getting up from my spot.
"Hey" I do a little wave as he just nods and smiles at me.
"Good evening" He gives a very tense smile "I hope you weren't waiting long." He always looks so stiff with his hands behind his back and his stance so straight.
"Oh no...not long" I slowly make my way to him until I'm standing in front of him. We're just staring into each other eyes for a moment. It makes me look down giggling.
"I thought we could have dinner or go dancing or both" He says kindly smirking.
"That sounds fun" I bite my lip while we still stared at each other. He eventually offered me his arm, which I took with a light snort at the action.
He asked me about my day, how I got to his castle and how I met Heidi. I told him how I really just sat in cafes all day drawing and journaling. How it wasn't really Heidi that brought me to the castle but I just thought the castle itself looked interesting and somewhat crashed the tourist group.
"It wasn't Heidi" He asked almost shocked.
"I'm not into girls" I say jesting at his confusion while he looked to be deep in thought.
We got to a little fancy Italian restaurant after a short walk.
Demetri opened the door of the restaurant making me a say a quick thank you as looked at him slightly surprised by the gesture.
The staff looked stressed as Demetri and I walked in but there were no customers in the restaurant.
Demetri and them spoke in Italian as I watched the interaction it was very interesting. The host or owner of the restaurant was sweating profusely while Demetri wasn't rude though I had no idea what they were saying but he looked above the man's head as he talked to him.
The man eventually led us to our table tripping over himself as he walked which I noticed made Demetri roll his eyes while I bit my lip sympathetically. Demetri pulled out my chair for me and tucked me into the table.
"Thanks" I said in a kind of long way as I looked Demetri over intriguingly.
"Do I pique your fascination?" Demetri says teasingly at the look I was giving him as a waitress came shaking as she put glasses of water on the table, stuttered as she spoke to Demetri in Italian before walking.
"You're definitely in the mafia" I deadpanned making Demetri laugh but he ended up biting his lip as if he was thinking about something.
"I think I will leave that a mystery" He said coyly giving me a smirk that made me give him one back.
"A drive by isn't going to happened at any moment" I say with fake worry making him chuckle again.
"Oh no..no drive bys" He genuinely smiled but slowly faltered before he spoke "Would you say you lead an exciting life" he looked at me as if he was inspecting me making me hold back a scoff.
I shrug "I came to Italy on a whim for the summer so I guess I do try when I have time" I say slightly mocking "How about you...do you live an exciting life" I jokingly raise a brow.
"No all very boring" He says genuinely.
"I don't believe that" I say in a mock sly way.
"No its true. My life is extremely boring. This right here actually is the most excitement in months" He says nodding down to the wine that was shakily brought to the table.
"Do you mind if I order for you" He asks me politely making me shrug a little.
"I don't know italian so you might as well surprise me" I say watching him begin to order.
He had such a regal air about him I notice.
Maybe he's a prince. He has to be something special.
"Are you from Italy?" I ask watching the waitress is hurrying away.
"No, Im from Greece" He looked distance for a moment.
"I've always wanted to go Greece" I watched him intrigued by his actions and facial expressions.
He nodded with a somewhat sad smile as if he hadn't been home in a long time.
"How long has it been since you been on a date?" I said starting to get a vibe off him as this made him chuckled but pause biting his lip slyly for a moment.
"I don't really go on dates" He tried to say in the most gentlemanly way which made me chuckle.
"Then what do you go on?" I say mockingly raising my eyebrows at him. The look on his face I would've thought him being so pale I would've seen a blush on his cheeks but he almost looked embarrassed.
"I have a lot of....friends" He tries to say in the most polite way possible but it only makes me laugh.
"And am I to be your friend?" I mockingly inquire. This made all joking manner leave his face.
"No...your-" He says looking at me with eyes that definitely had me blushing.
"Different" I deadpanned interrupting making him smirk.
"Truly" He countered and I smirked at the comment.
"But you are right... I'm not going to be your friend" I playfully scoff as he looks at me intensely.
Me and him stared into each other eyes for a moment. In that moment I realized something. I never believed in love at first sight or soul mates. But this man across this table I feel a pull, a connection that was completely indescribable. I just knew he was going to be a huge part of my life.
A/N: I am very tired and should work on “One Touch” but this idea came to me when I took a nap today ❤️ up to you how you interpret the ending but I see it as wholesome myself!
Warnings: none. It’s a drabble!
The women in the red dress had seduced you so easily. She just needed to smile at you, compliment your looks and ask if you wanted to join this tour abroad in a pretty castle. One photo was enough somehow for you to feel all right. Perhaps her seduction skills were supernatural, inhuman like how she carefully explained to you that they were vampires.
The moment was quite horrifying. Just as she opened the grand doors she spoke loud enough for every tour member to hear, “have a feast my dear friends.” And before any one of them could grab you, she put her arm around your middle and kept you safe. Her voice sweet and honeylike, she told you with a whisper there that they were vampires. They drank blood to survive. And just like that, she claimed that you had to stay around. She took a liking to you.
His jaw was covered in blood. His eyes pitch black, he smirked at the woman in red and then looked you up and down. The raised eyebrows indicated this was a surprise to him.
You had not yet realised the importance of this moment. You were a gift, she said to him. Something for them to play with.
The conversation around you was terrifying. Yet you felt safe with her arm around your middle, you were holding onto her with both hands. Gulping as you looked at the man.
They were equally good looking. Both tall, red eyes, and that undeniably beautiful smile and voice. And they seemed to be acquainted, perhaps even a couple.
A couple that wanted to play with you.
You knew that could mean anything.
But the truth was that they led you to a room far from this murder room. It was cold, dark and messy with trinkets you could only describe as old and ancient.
Their touches were cold. Their looks curious and they let you get used to their space. Wrapped in an old blanket you watched them play chess. You were sitting on their bed, they sat in leather chairs with a small table, with a chess board placed on top of it, between them. Their movements were fast, yet the time between turns took ages. It was fascinating to look at.
Their curiosity grew when you started yawning, dozing off.
“You all right, sweetie?” She asked.
“I am just tired.”
She nodded before moving one of her pieces. The frown the man showed after her move made you think she was winning.
You had fallen asleep with the blanket still wrapped around you.
And they were laying next to you when you stirred awake later. His head was right next to yours. So close that you could see different shades of red in his eyes. She was behind you, you could feel her hand touching your back.
“Are you tired too?” You asked him. Did vampires sleep?
He snorted, “no. We are always awake.”
You could feel her nails raking over your back.
“We were listening to your body. Everything slowed down when you closed your eyes.” She whispered, “much slower than when you were awake.”
You gulped, frowning at the implication. “You? You hear my body?”
“Your heartbeat just quickened when Heidi said it,” the man chuckled. “We hear every sound you make.”
“You… hear my organs?”
He turned his head to look at you. His pupils grew dark as he looked at your face. You were not afraid before but this look reminded you of how they killed everyone from the tour earlier. They were very much terrifying.
“I hear your heart pumping all that blood throughout your body. Fast and steady. Delicious really.”
“Demetri, do not scare her.”
You looked at his grin. He was not joking.
“Why are you just laying next to me instead of eating me then?”
You were tired still, wanting to close your eyes and sleep again. The blanket was comforting, so was the bed. You waited for his answer.
“You are a gift, remember? Heidi wants us to play with you. It’s interesting to listen and watch you sleep. I haven’t seen a human sleeping before.”
You heard the woman, Heidi, snicker at his answer.
“We shall play tomorrow. When she has rested.”
The promise of such sounded thrilling. You snuggled closer against her torso, letting her wrap her arm around you if she wishes to. You also grabbed the man’s hand, Demetri, to hold during your sleep, much to his surprise.
You could hear them speak just before you were unconscious again.
“You did find an interesting human, Heidi.”
“I know. I saw her and I knew I had to bring her here.”

____
Almost perfect…
That was what Caius described you as, in his mind. He adored nearly everything about you. The only downside was your humanity. That’s what made you almost perfect.
Never in a million years did Caius think that he would fall in love with a human. Love itself was a foreign feeling. Caius, himself, called love a weakness. Love was a stupid, silly idea to woo silly little girls…then you showed up and delightfully ruined everything!
You showed up and smacked him upside the head with a feeling he’d never experienced. At first, he was terrified. You were everything that he was not. You were sweet, funny, and all around a good person. There were a lot more words Caius could use to describe you, but he always ended up in the middle of left field, wondering how the hell he had gotten there.
You didn’t mind his emotional instability or how his temper would fly off of the handle. In fact, you could calm him down with only a simple little smile. You could even put a smile on his face. That in itself was a feat that hardly anyone else could accomplish.
Everything was perfect…until it wasn’t. It was a normal Thursday when you woke up with a headache. When you didn’t come down to harass Caius over whatever small subject, he knew something was off.
“Y/n?”
Caius stepped into your shared room with a frown on his face. You lay buried under a bunch of blankets.
“Under here. I think my head is going to explode.”
You whined. Caius frowned again before moving to sit down beside you on the bed. He carefully went through each layer of the blanket until he found you.
“This isn’t normal.”
He commented as your paler than normal face came into his view. You shook your head, pushing your face against his thigh. The light of the room was too much. You were thankful for his dark clothing, being able to drown all of that messy sunlight out.
“No. I feel like my head is going to explode.”
“You rarely get sick.”
Caius said, his frown intensifying. This was his worry. You becoming ill, and he wouldn’t have the slightest idea what to do.
Other than change her…
That had been the subject for some time. You had agreed to it, but no date was set. In fact, you agreed to it early in the relationship. That was one of Caius’ specific terms before he ever agreed to entertain the idea of being with a human.
“Yeah, well, I’m pretty sure I’m dying.”
You murmured. Caius shook his head.
“I’ll send Heidi to find something to make this stop. I would hope if you were dying, I would have figured it out by now.”
Caius replied, stroking his hand through your hair. His cold skin felt very nice on your throbbing head.
“Can you leave your hand there? The cold feels nice.”
“If that’s what you want, darling.”
Over the coming weeks, the migraines continued. They seemed to be coming more frequently and more severely than the last.
“I think it’s time you see a doctor. Heidi can take you.”
Caius finally said after what had to be headache 25.
“Maybe you’re right.”
You replied, sick of feeling like death. Caius was surprised you agreed so easily. Normally, you had an aversion to even considering seeing a doctor. A few bad experiences in your life have left you with a fear of doctors.
“That’s the easiest you have ever agreed to anything. We can get this figured out and get you out of misery.”
You turned back to Caius with a smirk.
“Or you could just change me, and we can skip the doctor altogether”
Caius gently kissed your forehead.
“I’ll change you soon enough.”
He replied. Caius planned to. He was simply enjoying your last little bit of humanity. As much as Caius looked forward to no longer having to be so careful with you, he would miss certain details. He would miss your beautiful eyes. He would miss the way your cheeks would flush when he said something off the cuff or when the two of you made love. Caius would miss seeing those cute pink cheeks and tears streaming down your eyes as you were overstimulated, unable to moan his name.
“I can accept that.”
You replied, moving to kiss his cheek before getting up.
“I’ll be back soon.”
An hour later you sat in the doctor’s office feeling like a glorified pincushion. You had been poked, prodded, and scanned so many times that you lost count.
Sitting in the cold room, you were glad when Heidi stepped in. She had left the moment the nurse came to draw blood. You didn’t blame her either.
“I’m sorry. I would have stayed but…”
You smiled and squeezed Heidi’s hand.
“You don’t have to explain. I understand, Heidi.”
She relaxed beside you. The last thing that she wanted was to have to explain to Caius why she had bitten you.
“Hopefully they can figure out what’s causing these headaches.”
You said, nervously. Heidi only nodded. She knew if it was anything bad, Caius would simply change you. If it was something not so terminal, you could get medicine and feel better.
The moment the doctor stepped in, you knew something was wrong. The expression on your face told you everything that you needed to know. He sat down and stared at you for a moment before speaking.
“I got the results of your test back. I’m sorry to be so blunt but you have a brain tumor. That is the cause of your headaches….”
After that, the words seemed to blur together, and you couldn’t even comprehend the rest. Had it not been for Heidi squeezing your hand, you may have even forgotten why you were in the room.
“How long does she have?”
Heidi’s voice pulled you from your trance. The doctor appeared thoughtful again.
“With treatment, maybe a year. Without…a few months. The migraines will get worse and more frequent.”
Heidi managed a small “oh” before going back to squeezing your hand.
After leaving the doctor, you turned to Heidi.
“I don’t want to just dump this news on everyone. I’m still taking it in…they will figure it out soon enough.”
“Caius will ask.”
You only nodded. While you knew you had the option of being changed, knowing your mortal life was coming to an end so rapidly and suddenly was still a lot to take in.
“I know.”
You murmured, as if on autopilot.
The moment you stepped into the throne room, Caius was on his feet. He frowned, seeing that look on your face.
“Well?”
He questioned. You stared at him for a moment before turning and leaving the room. At the moment, you didn’t think that you could even get the words out.
“Are you going to tell me or do I need to start guessing?”
You turned to see Caius walk in the door. Without even meeting his eyes, you knew that he was annoyed.
“It’s not good.”
Caius stood motionless for a moment as he took in your words. He quickly moved to stand beside you.
“Just tell me, Y/n.”
“I have a brain tumor. He said I only have a few months to live…if I don’t do the treatment.”
Caius quickly reached out, pulling your body against his. The anger started to build yet again. He should have gone with you. Granted, Caius would have probably killed the doctor for making you panic like this (even if it really wasn’t the poor man’s fault).
“I’m changing you. You don’t get to come into my life and just check out. Everything will be fine, darling. You know I won’t let anything happen to you.”
You nodded, sniffing against Caius’ shoulder.
“I know. I wasn’t expecting that news. It was just a shock.”
Caius gently leaned your body back in his arms.
“I’m sure. I’m sorry that you had to find out like that. Do you believe me when I say that you’ll be fine?”
You nodded.
“Please don’t go kill the doctor. He did what he was supposed to.”
Caius chuckled before leaning down to kiss you.
“You know me so well. I’ll leave the human alone. You’ve always been almost perfect. Now you’ll be completely perfect.”
A/N: Needed some comfort so I wrote something short silly cute ❤️
It felt like a huge weight was placed on top of you. Every muscle refusing to work- your entire body tired and sore. You were tired- so tired that you could sleep for days.
He was holding you close against his chest. Both arms around your torso, his chin on your shoulder, he simply held you quietly. His skin was cold against yours, a contrast to the warmth of the bathwater. You liked it; like you were embraced by both ice and fire. Safe in the arms of both.
You lifted your hand to reach for his head. Scratching his scalp, making him shudder and purr. He distracted you, making you smile. Demetri immediately tugged you closer against him. The action so quickly that water splashed on the tiles next to the tube. He made you giggle: kissing your shoulder, then your neck, your cheek and then he used one of his hands to grab your chin so he could kiss your lips.
He knew about the weight you felt on your shoulders. The heaviness and soreness your muscles carried on days like these. As if everything was too hard. It did not happen often but he knew what to do. Holding you close was all you needed from him.
You stayed like this with Demetri until the water was as cold as his skin. Too tired to get up you just leant against his chest. Fingers entwined, your eyes closed, it was comforting. That was until Demetri purred that you had to get out or your skin would stay wrinkled like that forever.
Carrying you smoothly out of the tub to the bed. You could feel his gaze on you. Soft crinkled eyes, a small smile adorning his face, he was checking on you. Demetri laid down on the bed with you on top- letting you rest your head on his chest with your limbs spread over his body. You were so tired that you barely had any control over your limbs.
You giggled, looking up at him with halfclosed eyes, “I love you.”
“Do you?” He teased, grabbing the blanket to cover your body.
“With everything I have,” you started mumbling. “Forever.” The words were slurred, sleep taking over quickly.
Demetri smirked. Watching the way you tried to say a few more things. Even with his vampiric hearing he couldn’t make out what you said; it was too slurred to understand. But he tugged you closer, sighing as he looked up at the ceiling. You would sleep for several hours and then the weight of tiredness would be lifted from your shoulders.
“Love you too.” He whispered, ensuring that you wouldn’t wake up.
Request: Can you write a series (it can be long or short) where the reader is the daughter of Marcus and Didyme? I know it will make it not cannon but it's fiction. She meets Marcus later in life and when they do meet he sees a bond between the reader and Caius. You can come up with the rest.

Chapter Warning: SMUT
______
You watched Caius storm out with wide eyes.
The fuck was that?
You thought before frowning. He asked you not to hurt him, and you were giving him confirmation that you weren’t like his ex. You would just tell him, at least not intentionally.
I could treat him pretty damn good.
You thought coldly before leaving the room, too. Going downstairs, you stopped seeing Heidi talking to Demetri and Aro. They looked like the perfect unprepared audience for your drama.
Aro tilted his head at the rather annoyed expression on your face. One thing Aro liked about you, like Didyme, your facial expressions were a window to your soul.
“Are you alright, dear?”
You huffed sitting down. Sitting in silence for a moment, you finally looked up to the multiple sets of eyes looking at you.
“So, I’m going to be a lesbian. Heidi want to be my girlfriend?”
The three looked at each other before Heidi came to sit beside you.
“What happened? I don’t think Demetri would go for me being a lesbian. We’ve been together for a long time.”
Demetri shrugged before grinning.
“Y/n could join us.”
Aro gave him a look that made him apologize. Aro sat down with a small smirk.
“As much as I support the lesbian community and would be totally accepting if you decided to be one, can you explain what got you to this point?”
You poked your head up.
“I finally got my first kiss then ruined it by pissing said person off.”
Aro and Heidi’s eyes widened.
“Who kissed you?”
You met Aro’s gaze. This was either going to be a dumb conversation or your uncle would go on a rampage.
“Caius. He got mad at me because he asked me not to hurt him. I said I wasn’t Athenadora, and he went zero to one hundred. He does that a lot, doesn’t he?”
Aro had his hands clasped in front of him. He, too, knew about the bond Marcus saw between Caius and you. Aro just assumed that Marcus’ “just stay away from Caius” and Caius’ shitty attitude would be enough to keep you away…clearly not.
Heidi and Demetri exchanged glances. They had been making bets with Felix on who would make the first move.
“Damn, I hate telling Felix that he was right, but here we are.”
Demetri grumbled before joining you at the table.
“I don’t think what you said was dumb. You were giving him some confrontation that you were different. We all know that you aren’t like her.”
Heidi said soothingly. Aro blinked.
“You kissed Caius?”
You stared at your uncle, raising an eyebrow. Did he not hear you the first time?
“Yes?”
Aro muttered “oh, that’s lovely” and went back to his little world. You shook your head and turned back to Demetri.
“Well, how was it?”
“Nice…I know what French kissing in movies feels like now.”
Aro stood up.
“I shouldn’t be hearing this yet I can’t look away. You didn’t do anything wrong. Heidi is right. You aren’t like Athenadora. Darling, you have to understand that when she left, it devastated Caius. He isn’t the person that you wrong and expect nothing to happen. He has a lot of trauma that he unfortunately likes to bottle up and store away. Just give him some time. I can talk to him, if you want.”
You shook your head.
“Thanks, but don’t. I don’t want my uncle fighting my romantic battles. Something about that sounds weird. Thanks for caring, though.”
Aro nodded.
“Of course, darling. I’ll give him a scathing look of disappointment. He can make of that what he wants. Excuse me while I leave, not knowing a thing.”
When Aro left the room, you sighed again, turning back to Demetri and Heidi.
“I’m really considering joining you as a throuple…just so you both know.”
Demetri smirked.
“I don’t want Caius to kick my ass. He will get that stick out of his ass soon.”
You stood up. How were you going to face him? The two of you shared this mind-blowing, passionate kiss, and now you had to act as if nothing had happened.
“I guess we shall see. In the meantime, I’m going to get drunk.”
You replied. Heidi gave Demetri a look.
“We can go with you! Obviously not the drinking part, but we will go and keep you company.”
An hour later, you sat at a table with several empty shot glasses in front of you. Heidi, Demetri, and Felix all stared at you with concerned eyes.
“Maybe you should slow down?”
Felix suggested as you downed another drink.
“You know, Felix…you look great with brown contacts. I’m barely feeling anything…Maybe I am. I’m going to tell Caius to bite me. The motherfucker kisses me like that, then gets pissy when I try to be romantic. You know what, he just might…carry on.”
Felix pressed his lips together, fighting the urge to chuckle as Heidi grabbed your hand.
“Come dance with me. You’ve drunk enough.”
Once you were out on the dance floor, Felix turned to Demetri.
“She’s going to break a lot of hearts.”
Demetri nodded.
“Caius’ in particular. What do we tell the kings when we take her extra drunk ass home?”
Felix shrugged.
“We kept an eye on her, and she kept her clothes on. Oh, wait, Heidi just had to fix her dress. We should probably get her home.”
Meanwhile…
Caius sat on his throne in a mood from hell. He was so annoyed with himself that he couldn’t see straight. You kissed him. You actually kissed him. That was possibly the best kiss that he had ever had in his life, and he ruined it by being weak.
I was a typical useless man.
Caius grumbled. You hadn’t done anything wrong. In fact, you were being the opposite. You were trying to reassure him. He could feel it. You weren’t Athenadora and were so far from it. If you had been like Athenadora, you would have been pestering him with stupid, useless wants. You hadn’t asked him for a thing...just that perfect kiss.
Why am I acting like a teenage girl?
Caius thought as Marcus came in with an annoyed-looking Aro. Both sat down before turning to look at him. Caius made note that Marcus wasn’t trying to kill him, so clearly he didn’t know.
“Why are you so moody, brother?”
Aro asked. Caius groaned.
“How about you don’t speak to me. I don’t have the patience today.”
Aro started to say something, but Marcus cut in.
“I would prefer that the two of you not argue today. I don’t have the patience for it. Have either of you seen my daughter?”
Aro turned to Marcus, thankful for someone to have a conversation with.
“No, I have not. She’s probably being the Hide and Seek World Champion. I did see her earlier with Heidi and Demetri. I’m sure she’s just fine. Hopefully safe from ridiculously hurtful idiots.”
Caius’ head slowly turned to Aro, looking at him like a lion about to stalk its next meal.
“You have about five seconds before I come after you.”
Marcus held his hands up.
“Please stop. What is going on?”
Aro turned to Caius.
“Are you telling him or am I?”
Caius raised an eyebrow.
“Fine. Marcus, I kissed your daughter…or she kissed me. Not that it matters what matters is the fact that I ruined everything and you have nothing to worry about.”
Marcus stared at Caius with wide eyes before turning to look at Aro.
“And you knew?”
Aro nodded.
“Indeed. Y/n was upset. Is it the least of your worries that I know?”
Marcus turned to Caius again. The bloody bond. It appeared that no matter what he said, the bond would happen.
“What did you do?”
Caius groaned.
“Can’t you take comfort in the fact I came out looking like a jerk and go in peace?”
“Absolutely not.”
Caius stood up and started to pace.
“We were talking, then kissed. I had a rather weak moment and asked her not to hurt me. She said she wasn’t Athenadora. I lost my temper, and here we are. I know about the bond that you saw! I also know that you told her to stay away from me.”
It was Marcus’ turn to look surprised.
“How did you find out?”
Caius glared at Aro.
“A giant bird with a big mouth told me!”
“Aro.”
Marcus groaned. Aro held his hands up.
“I had no one to talk to! You didn’t want to talk, and it was him. Besides, Marcus, you know Caius would technically be the best for Y/n. He can protect her properly. Do you really want her dating some stupid human that would break her heart and die? Do you want to see her hurt?”
Marcus glared at Caius again.
“Look what he’s gone and done.”
“He has trauma.”
Aro said, trying to sound soothing. Caius stopped pacing to glare at the other kings. Aro was back to being close to being attacked.
“He can hear you.”
Aro smirked.
“I think we need to allow events to happen and see how it goes. Marcus, you’re her father, and you will always worry, but remember, they will be here where you can see everything.”
Marcus wasn’t happy. He didn’t like the situation one bit. Marcus knew Caius’ temper and tendency to be a sadist. Did Marcus think Caius would intentionally hurt you? He didn’t know. The last thing Marcus wanted was for you to be injured in one of Caius’ fucked up moods.
Marcus knew that Caius was good to Athenadora. In fact, he spoiled her. He could only hope that if things progressed between the two of you, Caius would be as good to you.
“Fine.”
Marcus said while Caius sat down with a huff.
“If he hurts her…”
Aro held up a hand.
“Then I’ll let the two of you deal with each other. Whoever is in the wrong will have to deal with the consequences of their actions."
A few hours later, Felix walked in with your sleeping body in his arms. Aro, Marcus, and Caius all stood with matching expressions on concern on their faces.
“What the hell?”
Caius snapped as Marcus reached out to take you from Felix.
“She wanted to go out drinking, and she did. We were with her. Fascinating how half-breeds have such a large alcohol tolerance. We kept her safe.”
Heidi handed Aro one of your shoes.
“She kept her clothes on, but we aren’t sure where her other shoe went. I’ll go find some medicine for tomorrow. I think she will need it.”
Aro nodded, looking at your one shoe.
“I think that may be a good idea.”
Both Felix and Heidi glanced at a very annoyed Caius. That was all the proof that they needed to see that Caius cared.
The next morning, you woke up at the bottom of your bed. It wasn’t often that you slept; it usually seemed to be when you were drunk. Sitting up, you rubbed your hand over your eyes.
This is why I don’t drink. Christ on a cracker, this sucks.
You thought before getting up. The last memories you had of the night before were dancing with Heidi. Somehow, you got home and in bed. You made a mental note to thank whoever it was.
Walking out of your room and into the throne room, you were met with automatic frowns from Marcus, Aro, and Caius.
“Good morning to you all, too.”
You said as Marcus stood up.
“What were you thinking last night?”
You groaned as Aro stood and started walking circles around you.
“I watched Supernatural, and the angel drank a liquor store. I decided to give it a shot. I don’t recommend it. Why are you circling me like that? Are you trying to be a vulture?”
Aro sighed.
“Because if you were hungover, this would make you dizzy.”
You groaned.
“Congratulations, I am hungover. I’m about to ruin your fancy shoes.”
Marcus hadn’t looked away from your face. Aro quickly stepped back. He spent too much money on the shoes that he was wearing to be vomited on.
“You could have been hurt, darling. I would like you to be more careful.”
You nodded, not feeling like arguing. Glancing at Caius, he glared at you as if you had personally offended him. At least he didn’t come along. You could have slept with him and dipped before the sun came up, but you didn’t.
I have some morals.
You thought with a cheeky smirk.
“Okay, no more benders for me. Can I go?”
Marcus nodded as Aro attempted to fix your hair.
“Yes, dear.”
You turned and walked from the room without another word. It was time to go nurse your poor, pathetic self back to health and happiness. It would have been great to nurse this hangover with but you had to work with what you had. At the moment, that was a lot of nothing.
An hour later, you lay looking out at the gloomy mid-morning afternoon.
“I hope you know what you did was incredibly stupid.”
Frowning, you looked up, seeing Caius glaring at you. He stood with that haughty frown on his face, glaring at you as if he were surveying a bug.
“Yeah, I got the message. Wait, how the fuck did you find me? I’m hiding.”
Caius raised an eyebrow. Was this the bond in the making?
“I just found you. How could you think going out with humans was a good idea? You could have been hurt.”
“And I know how to fight. Caius, if you are going to stand here and berate me, at least lower your volume. Like I told Aro, I will ruin your fancy shoes.”
Caius crossed his arms over his chest.
“I’m barely speaking to you.”
“Oh.”
You replied before putting your head back down on the pillow.
“It was still stupid.”
You sat back up, a little too quickly.
“You don’t get to boss me around. You think one kiss gives you that right? You can go fuck right off.”
Those words left your mouth before you even thought of the weight. If Caius was going to kill you, this would be a great moment for it. Instead, he looked rather amused.
“You’re so pathetically sassy. Even if you did gain a man’s attention, that mouth of yours would drive them crazy.”
“Yet here you stand.”
You replied. Caius sighed, sounding defeated. You really were the most difficult woman that he had ever come across. He could walk away, but he didn’t want to at the same time. Moving to sit down beside you, Caius watched as you put a hand over your eyes.
“I assume you have a headache.”
“You would be right.”
You said, wishing that mortal pain pills would touch this shit show of a headache.
“Come here.”
Your hand lowered slowly. For a moment, you thought you were delirious. Caius stared at you with his typical frown, but something was different. His voice had a slight softness to it, like the day before when he asked you not to hurt him.
"I said, come here."
Without needing to be told twice, you carefully crawled onto Caius’ lap. Placing a leg on either side of his body, you snuggled your face against his shoulder.
The fuck is this?
You thought, keeping one eye open. Is this when he killed you? Closing your eyes, you breathed in his scent. This was intimate, like the kiss. You made a mental note to try not to say anything stupid.
“Stop worrying about things that do not matter at this moment.”
Caius said as his hand stroked up through your hair. Lying his cheek against your head, Caius closed his eyes. Marcus was right. This was a bond. This was the proverbial lightning striking his heart, and Caius no longer cared.
He thought that he had felt this with Athenadora. It turns out that Caius was very wrong. He tolerated Athenadora. You were different. You would keep him on his toes. Caius was ready to tear anyone apart when it came to you.
The two of you sat in silence for a moment before Caius spoke.
“Be mine.”
You sat up, looking at him carefully.
“Please don’t play games with me. I’m feeling fragile.”
Something in Caius’ eyes was different. This was the look that would only be reserved for you.
“You? Fragile? Oh please. I’m sorry about yesterday. You didn’t deserve that. She wasn’t worth getting that upset over. I only thought that she was. You’re different…we have a bond. Your father saw it too. You should feel grateful. That’s my once-in-a-century apology.”
“To think my father told me to stay away from you.”
Caius rolled his eyes.
“I gave him hell over it, too.”
“That’s probably how you found me when I was hiding.”
Caius’ eyes rolled up to your face.
“I’ll always be able to find you. I can’t stay away…no matter what your insane uncle and father have to say.”
You winced thinking about how Marcus and Aro had to behave. It probably wasn’t a pretty sight.
“How you haven’t choked them by now is a mystery to me.”
Caius smirked.
“Unending mercy, my darling. Now enough talking about them, I want to taste those perfect lips again.”
Caius quickly pulled you into another hungry kiss. This kiss rivaled the one from the day before. If you could have been left breathless, this would have been the one that could have done you in.
When you pulled away, you kept your mouth close. If he wanted to kiss again, you wouldn’t object.
“God, you’re dreamy.”
You murmured. Caius gave you one of those rare smiles that you would soon come to adore.
“You get the side of me that no one else sees. It’s a rarity. I hope you enjoy it.”
“I do. I’m glad I decided not to be a lesbian.”
Caius’ red eyes fluttered open. He immediately looked confused.
“I’m sorry?”
You giggled, twirling a strand of his hair around your finger.
“I told Heidi that I was going to be a lesbian after our little tiff yesterday. I don’t want to kiss another man like. It’s hard to beat a first kiss like that.”
Caius’ eyes widened. Your first kiss? He was your first kiss?
“That was your first kiss?”
He asked. You nodded.
“It was nice too.”
Caius rolled his eyes. Maybe the kiss was nice, but the situation sucked ass.
“Minus my ridiculous tantrum. I can, at least, make sealing our bond romantic.”
He watched your face for any signs of apprehension.
“And that’s done how?”
You questioned. Caius reached up, cupping your cheek. You were his weakness. If he needed to find an Achilles heel for himself, you were it.
“Sex.”
He said simply.
Oh, hot damn, I am getting all of my firsts with this man.
You thought before giggling nervously.
“Oh…well….I wouldn’t complain. I uh have never done that before.”
Caius smirked.
“I had a feeling. Considering you have never been kissed, I would have been astounded and worried if you had sex with some other man. I would also want to tear him to shreds.”
You unbuttoned the first three buttons of Caius’ red shirt.
“Maybe we should get that part officially taken care of?”
Caius pulled you a little more tightly against him.
“You don’t seem so cocky now, love. Look at you, wanting to give yourself to me so quickly.”
“Oh I’m still cocky. I’m just giving you a reason not to shred some random dude to shreds.”
Caius chuckled. That mouth of yours was going to be the death of him yet.
“We do this, and I can’t stay away.”
“Who said I wanted you to?”
You replied. That was enough for Caius. He stood keeping your body in his arms.
“I’m not gentle, Y/n. I’ll be gentle with you this once, but after that, you get what you get.”
Caius wasn’t stopping. Now that he had your consent, you were all his. There would be no worry about having to potentially kill some other vampire over you. You were his queen, and anyone who tried anything would be dead.
Dead is good enough.
Caius thought coldly as he closed the door to his chambers with his foot.
“You have one more chance to back out.”
Caius said, carefully. He knew that you wouldn’t, but it would look better than just having his way with you and not being considerate. You finished unbuttoning his shirt before batting your eyes.
“If I didn’t want to be with you, I would have kneed you in the balls by now.”
You were relieved when Caius chuckled.
“Something tells me that you would do just that, too.”
Stroking your hand down his chest, you stopped at a scar that ran across.
“Werewolves.”
Caius said simply. The anger had returned to his eyes. You nodded and began to undo your dress.
“You’re still perfect.”
You commented as your dress dropped. Caius’ eyes widened, looking over your nearly naked body. Chuckling, you took his hand and placed it on your breast.
“No matter the species, when a man sees a pair of boobs, he goes to pieces.”
Caius shook his head.
“Stop being a comedian and get into the moment.”
He reached out and ripped the bra right off your chest. You blinked a few times as he lifted your body and carried you to the bed.
“Too bad that I can’t just keep you naked. In here, that’s what it’s going to be.”
Dropping you on the bed, Caius wiggled out of the rest of his clothes before taking his place over you.
“This will hurt.”
You nodded. There had been enough stories for you to know this wasn’t going to be a painless task. Judging from his size, you weren’t about to get away pain-free.
“I know.”
You said. Caius raised an eyebrow as he toyed with your nipple.
“You don’t sound so bloody sure of yourself now, darling.”
Rolling your eyes, you reached up and pulled him down for another kiss.
“Shut up and get to work.”
You grumbled, earning a small laugh from him. Caius teased your lips a little longer before kissing and licking his way to your breasts. The moment his mouth locked on your nipple, you whimpered. Caius slipped his hand between your body to tease your clit. Your hips jerked and your back arched.
His red eyes rolled to your face.
“Easy, love. You’ll have to get used to me touching you. I’m going to be spending a lot of time touching you.”
Caius went back to sucking hungrily at your nipples. He bit down enough to draw blood. Caius closed his eyes, his tongue licking every drop.
“You taste like heaven, my darling.”
Lifting up, Caius moved up enough to kiss you once more, his tongue teasing yours.
“Now for what I really want.”
Kissing his way back down your body, Caius slipped off of the bed onto his knees. He watched your face for any signs of regret. Seeing none, he gently spread your legs apart. Biting his lip, the swell of desire returned yet again.
She’s all mine.
Caius thought before moving to kiss your inner thighs.
“These will look so pretty with garters on them.”
He mumbled, making future plans on how he would dress you like his personal doll.
You gasped the moment he bit down on your thigh. Looking down, you watched as Caius closed his eyes, enjoying every drop. When his eyes opened, he looked at you as if judging how you would react to his action.
“You are heaven.”
He murmured, kissing the wound and moving back to your lower body.
“Time to make you feel good, angel. Are you ready for your first orgasm?”
You only nodded. Your snide, snarky side was off and replaced with a nervous girl that you weren’t familiar with. The moment Caius licked a strip over your clit, you nearly came off the bed.
“Easy, love.”
Caius murmured before going back to your clit, sucking and teasing you until you were gasping.
“I think this is it.”
You whimpered. Caius looked up at you and replaced his tongue with his fingers. Rubbing harshly, he watched your face for the inevitable moment.
You cried his name as the feeling of being pushed over the edge consumed you. Caius quickly moved back up to hold your face close to his.
“That’s it, angel. I’m going to keep doing this to you. You’ll only be able to moan my name. Keep going, I know you feel good.”
It took a few seconds before you could open your eyes.
“Wow.”
You murmured as Caius leaned in to kiss you.
“Did you like that?”
You nodded.
“I see what the movies are talking about now.”
Caius chuckled, letting his fingers go back to stroking your pussy. This time, he stopped at your opening.
“Wait until I get inside of you.”
You swallowed, spreading your legs a bit more.
“Hurry up already.”
Caius moved to take his place on top of you.
“As you wish.”
He murmured before slowly beginning to push inside. With each inch, you were beginning to become uncomfortably full. You gently tried to push Caius back, but he stopped you.
“No. Don’t push me away. Just one more…l
He snapped his hips, shoving through your barrier. You cried out as he wrapped his arms around you, gently shushing you.
“It’s over, angel. You did well. I’m going to move.”
You only nodded as Caius began to slowly rock his hips. He kept a watchful eye on your face. It took only a few seconds before your mouth made a perfect “O.”
“Caius, I need you to go harder.”
That was all of the information he needed. Totally withdrawing, Caius flipped you on your belly. You whimpered as he pulled you up by your hips, then shoved back in.
“Like that? I’m going to be fucking you like this a lot. Look at me, I want to see those pretty eyes while I fuck you sore.”
You did as you were told, focusing on the delicious feeling between your legs.
“I’m close.”
You whimpered. Caius closed his eyes, increasing the speed of his hips.
“Hurry up, woman. I don’t have all day.”
He said through gritted teeth. It took two more thrusts before you were finishing again. This time, you were pretty sure the world went dark for a brief second.
Caius’ hands tightened on your hips as he moaned your name and oh god before filling you.
Neither of you moved for a moment. Caius was the first to pull away. He withdrew, then lay down beside you, gathering you into his arms. You placed your head on your chest. Neither of you spoke for a moment.
Caius stroked his hand through your hair, wondering how he was going to explain this to Marcus.
Fuck Marcus. It was my decision.
He thought before smirking at the thought of the expression on Aro and Marcus’ faces. They knew there was a bond between the two of you. They would have to accept it or get over it.
“Are you okay?”
Caius finally asked. Maybe he should check on you after a first fucking…making love…
Maybe I should be more romantic?
Caius thought as you kissed his cheek.
“Perfect. So the bond is good?”
“Yes, all I can feel is you. You’re all mine, darling.”
(Meanwhile)
Aro and Marcus sat in the throne room. Neither had seen Caius in hours.
“Do you think?”
Aro stated. Marcus held a hand up.
“I don’t want to know. Speak no further.”
Aro was quiet for a moment before speaking.
“Should we have the sex talk with them? We don’t need another Cullen situation. I don’t know if Y/n will be able to get into that condition. You’re her father. You should talk to her.”
Marcus’ eyes rolled over to Aro. If he hadn’t been sitting down, he might have fallen down.
“No, we do not. We have no information on the subject. I am not having the sex talk with Caius. You are the leader of this. You do it.”
Aro started to comment that they were better off finding a human pamphlet on the subject, but stopped when the door opened. Felix stepped in with Athenadora behind him.
Oh fuck.
Aro muttered before standing.
“Athenadora. What a surprise. “
Athenadora nodded and smiled politely before looking to where Caius typically sat.
“I came to see Caius. Where is my dear husband?”
Aro and Marcus exchanged glances. It took all Aro had not to say "You're dear husband is somewhere with my niece under him calling him daddy” but he also didn’t want to need to wash his mouth out.
“Don’t you mean ex-husband?”
Athenadora smirked.
“Whatever. Where is he?”
Aro pressed his lips together.
“He’s busy. We can tell him that you dropped by.”
Athenadora shook her head, sitting down. She wasn’t about to take this as an option. Placing her handbag on her lap, she gave Aro a small smile.
“I’ll wait for him.”
Aro glanced at Marcus again. This day just kept getting better.
Ooo I saw your requests are temporarily opened!! I hope this is okay!!
Can I please request a Demetri x fem!reader where she was one of the newborns turned by Victoria, and when Dem, Felix, Jane, and Alec are there watching the newborn vamps and discussing what to do, Y/n (because she has special vamp abilities) is the only calm, in control newborn and she can sense that her mate is near (Demetri) and much to the four of their surprise, she goes right up to them, straight to Demetri, and says she is scared and needs help (poor girl doesn’t know what is going on). I’m sure the Felix, Jane, and Alec would’ve tried to attack her but she sends them flying away from her without even touching them (maybe she has telekinesis and can control fire, water, air, ice). Anyways The Kings are absolutely ECSTATIC to meet Y/n and Demetri makes her feel right at home🥰
One of the newborns
A/N: Ah Demetri my favorite guard. Ohh I struggled a little bit with how I could have her approach him realistically but I hope you like this ❤️ Thank you for the request lovely!
He was shouting. Riley’s nostrils flared as annoyance seeped through his demeanor when he grabbed a kid by its legs and threw him on top of another kid. They both scrambled for their lives, knowing that to anger Riley meant your head could be ripped off. You took an unnecessary deep breath, feeling the way the air went towards your lungs and back out without effect. You watched Riley shout at a few other newborns who were so stupid to attack civilians in the middle of the streets.
Riley was kind if you followed the rules. Which you did, you tried to do everything exactly as he said so. There were more newborns so calm and in control like you. Bree was one of them but she was so young. You were sure she was just a teenager. She followed Riley like a puppy but you knew she was smart. She would probably figure it out soon what his plan was. And you? Well, you were having a feeling that something was out there for you. Something more important than this. Perhaps it had to do with your gift. You did not tell Riley about it and you killed the other vampire who was there when you found out. It was instinct, you had to kill her so no one would know. And since that night you tried with every part of your being to not use it. The longer you withheld it the more you felt a burn inside you, a need to use it. Even if it could kill you. You were terrified to use it in front of Riley.
This night was not particularly special. The moon was bright and most newborns had once again fucked up with the rules from Riley. He tore the head off a newborn who tried to attack him. Riley was actually not stronger than the newborns but he knew what to do, the redheaded woman probably taught him. You were curious about the redheaded woman but you made sure to never ask. This alleyway was disgusting and you sat down next to a container to watch one of the others drink from a dead man. It was messy; his limbs were everywhere. You had grabbed an arm to lick off the blood the other vampire had not drank yet. It was delicious.
As you watched the others grab more bodies you caught sight of something in the distance. It was merely a second visible but you sneaked off to a different building so you could see that area better. Four vampires disappearing into the night with dark cloaks. Their clothing made it easy for them to seem invisible to humans. But you saw them and now you were watching them from behind.
You gulped when one of them, a tall vampire, turned around and fell to his knees. He howled in pain as a tiny vampire behind him stared him down. Her smile was evil, the one next to her looked at them in boredom while the fourth seemed to enjoy the show. Your gaze shifted from the tall man to the fourth man. Beneath his cloak he was wearing an old-fashioned outfit. As if he was born centuries ago. Perhaps he was- they all seemed ancient. However, you couldn’t stop looking away. There was something about him.
Riley had once said something about how he was her mate. The mate from the redheaded woman. It meant that you were born for each other. Soulmates but for eternity. He said that sometimes you could sense them when they were nearby and sometimes it takes the mate to actually seek them out. It is different for every vampire, he explained. He had not much experience either; barely grown out of his newborn phase. But perhaps this was what he meant. You couldn’t stop; you felt a sudden urge to just walk up to him. Which was terrifying because what if they would kill you? Why were they looking at the newborns from afar?
You weighted down the options and as the tall vampire got up again and listened to what the tiny vampire had to say- you got up and slowly walked up to them. It all happened in seconds; the tall vampire was about to jump at you and because it scared you, you used your gift in all its untrained glory to throw him off you. Next a hand was curled around your throat and you were pressed into a brick wall by the fourth man. His hissing was heard loudly in your ear and you whimpered when you could feel your throat cracking underneath his hand.
Looking up into his eyes you saw he had soft crimson red eyes. The color of red was faded by age but rage and curiosity was visible in his features. He frowned as he looked down at you. Biting his lips as he watched your features. You gasped for relief when his hold on your throat was not as tight anymore. And then his features softened, his eyes crinkled and you gasped for air; staring at how pretty he was.
“Demetri,” an angelic voice spoke up from behind him. “Care to explain?”
Oh, his name was Demetri. You placed your hand on his as he turned his head to look at the tiny vampire. He answered with only one sentence: Et petram, ex saxum. You did not know what it meant but it was clearly sacred. All three of them took a step backwards while Demetri turned his head back towards you. He was smiling.
Demetri moved his thumb towards your chin, making you lift your head. He was tilting his head sideways, examining you as if in wonder.
His voice was soothing when he spoke again; “say, how long ago were you turned, my love?”
It was embarrassing to not know what to say. You felt like he could watch right through you. You whispered: “Three months ago, I think.”
“So young, parva exspiravit.” His smile grew wider.
You had no idea what he was saying. You wanted to ask but you were nervous.
Suddenly the tall man spoke up as well: “I believe it is time we return.”
“I agree with you this time, Felix,” the tiny vampire added.
Demetri lifted his other hand and cupped both your cheeks now. He was cradling your head as if you were fragile. Perhaps you were fragile compared to him. He looked ancient and yet as if he was just reborn. You started smiling because of how childlike his wide smile was. He pressed his forehead against yours and you gasped because of the intense eye contact. You couldn’t look away, he wouldn’t let you.
“I waited centuries for you,” he whispered.
Oh, he had existed for a really long time already.
“Come with me, we have a home in Volterra.”
Wait, you were turned by the redheaded woman. Riley wouldn’t let you go. You were an important asset, he had said a few days ago. “I can’t, Riley will kill me if I disobey him. I am important for his mate’s mission. You need to help me escape them.”
You shrieked when he growled suddenly.
“No, no one will kill what belongs to me. You are coming with me, all right? I will protect you.”
“Oh.”
You whimpered when he leant upwards to place a kiss on your forehead. It was intimate, it felt intimate. He cupped your cheeks tighter now, as if he wouldn’t let you go anymore. The gesture made you feel safe somehow. As if he was going to be your new home.
