double battle. [in the past]
voltxtackle
It was probably silly for Silver to go to Dragon’s Den in order to train, but he’d heard that prissy gym leader went here herself, and he did have to admit that she had some tough Dragon-types, the toughest that he’d ever faced. Many of the Pokémon within the water were an easy swipe for Feraligatr, but in the midst of it Silver found that he was growing to understand his Pokémon’s individual strengths and weaknesses more, which in turn served an asset in his battling. Maybe it was a matter of opening his heart -- of allowing himself to know them, maybe that was what had been holding him back. In any case, right about then his Crobat let out a victory screech of his own before settling close to the ground, a little tuckered out from the hour they’d spent there.
“Are you tired?” Silver mumbled the question, settling down and dropping his pack that was previously slung around his shoulders. “I have medicine for you.” The Crobat chirped in his agreement, and the boy couldn’t help but reflect back at his Pokémon the barest hint of a smile as he shuffled through his belongings in search of some Moomoo Milk he’d picked up on his way to the cove as well as Elixirs he’d bought (not stolen) from the Mart in the city nearby. The Moomoo Milk itself he carefully monitored its temperature as cold within hammerspace his pack by surrounding it with insulated ice cubes, as well as making extra sure to check on its expiration date so it wouldn’t spoil before their training was done. He devoted himself enough to the task of acquiring those items from his pack that he failed to notice anything else within his surroundings.
