In the vondel warzone map there's this bunker type thing that you need a rebreather (can be found in the floating district) to get to and ive been for months affectionately calling it nikto's house/ safe house with my friends
This dot is where the tunnel is in<3
(ignore the fact I'm dieing in these screenshots) , if you didn't know it was there you wouldn't ever notice since you can't unlock it from outside.
It's got so many pizza boxes abd the bunkebeds across from that one bed and desk. My favourite thing is beside the coach there's a rocking chair
I think it suits it's nearly centre of the map and so messy and unkempt krueger and niktos new house lol

Winter view from the Vondelpark in Amsterdam. Great place to stroll or to ride a biycle
Character Sheet: Vondel by CristianaLeone
The figure rose to his feet, agile and graceful. He was tall and slender, with long white hair, perfectly smooth and cared for. He wore an ankle-length gown of black silk, decorated with fire red flowers, open on the glabrous chest and fastened at the waist by a belt of the same fabric of the gown. He was wearing black leather pants that disappeared just below the knees in black boots, laced with many silver buckles. From his neck was hanging on the chest a medallion of the same material, with engraved on a open palm. His features were perfect, delicate, vaguely feminine; the skin was white and perfectly smooth. He had a tattoo on the face which, from the temples and cheekbones, twisted into curves and lines near to the left eye. He had eyes of the color of ice, cold, determined. Cruel. Yearning, hating and nothing fearing eyes. Thin, menacing, yet sensual, magnetic eyes. He brushed a rebellious lock from his forehead, to place it behind a long pointy ears. He was an elf. Beautiful and fierce. He took a generous swig of red wine, moisten his pale and sharp lips.
I just learned about possibly the shortest poem in the world, and it's in Dutch, from the 17th century.
U, nu!
It's a poem by Dutch playwright Joost van den Vondel from 1620 and he won a contest with it. It translates to: "You, now!" But it works much better in Dutch, lol. It's a palindrome, with the same vowel twice. In current Dutch, "u" is the formal form of address (as opposed to "je/jij"), but I don't know if that was already the case in the 17th century.
Apparently this poem has just been chosen as the best sentence of Dutch literature. I don't know if I agree, but it's a pretty good find. A bit like that famous Hemingway story: "For sale: baby shoes, never worn." Except more romantic (I assume) and less sad.

Do you know Vondel's poem "Lucifer"? They say he inspired Milton.
No! In fact, before I did a quick google search, I didn't even know who Joost van den Vondel was. Which is kind of wild, considering his wikipedia page says he's "generally regarded as the greatest writer in the Dutch language," so oops.
Have you read it? And if so, if there are any English translations you're aware of, would you recommend it?
