Great gig by the Voodoo Rays last night. They have a new member guitarist/keyboardist from Sicily...a fuller sound and going more electro. Frank exclaimed that everything they own goes “Wooooooo”(!)They ended their set with this latest track “Orbiter”. It was my first visit to The Plough & Harrow. The other bands were also very capable, but doing more straight up rock, not so much to my taste.

Looking forward to seeing my friends Voodoo Rays in my neck of the woods tomorrow...and a free weekend! Frank is also an artist- and one of his paintings hangs on the kitchen wall (see Halloween pic ) of the Cheshire Cat’s grin x2. It’s on a long-term loan, in exchange for a bottle of whiskey per year ( though I’m a bit behind on this 😏) It’s actually a good solution if you can’t afford to buy art, and artists have nowhere to store it. When Mr Saachi comes knocking I’ll have to give it up or cough up.
