Most yumes are fine, but some have a blatant problem with kaze & ot3 shippers. They throw ableist slurs at them, even referring to them zekis-in-disguise. They think it's impossible to like both ships; you're either a zeki or yume to them. I do not understand this mentality, this sudden bitterness towards ot3 shippers. I haven't seen any zekis harass ot3 shippers. The only posts I've seen, are: their criticism towards matsuri's writing and the ot3 idea feeling unearned.
This argument: some zekis & ot3 shippers deliberately ignore the japanese aspect of the manga. It is hypocritical, when some yumes have done the same. A japanese fan made a post months ago. They've attended the exhibition back in december, and shared their experience with the fandom. They've previously shared posts about japanese expressions and cultural insights. They've stopped. Some yumes harassed them out of the fandom over their post.
It's very telling they always have issues with zekis, ot3s, and kaze shippers. It ties back to this parasocial attachment they feel towards Kaname. Their possessiveness creates this obsessive hatred toward Zero, and anything involving him. For people who supposedly dislike him, Zero practically lives rent free to them. They talk about Zero Kiryuu more than his own fans😐Yet they're accusing zero fans of behavior they're actively displaying themselves. Their projection is wild. They're so possessive of Kaname, they would even belittle kaze & ot3 shippers. It's narcissistic behavior.
