What is the character’s favourite food?

Meat, meat, meat! Give Yoli more meat! If it’s an animal, it’s edible, and that means it’s meat! Let her eat meat! Rare, medium, well, slow roasted, sautéed, fried, dried, straight up raw, who even cares it’s meat!

Are they good at cooking? How good/bad?

Yoli knows exactly one method of cooking and that is roasting stuff over a spit. She’s actually pretty decent at it and can produce a nice golden skillfully cooked roast, but she has occasionally burnt things.

Do they leave the dishes out?

Does she look like a kitchenmaid? It’s her job to eat the food and that’s where things end.

What kind of food is in their refridgerator?

Wow a refrigerator sure sounds like a fantastic invention! It would be full of meat, so she could eat more meat for longer

For real, though, they have plenty of tried and true methods of food preservation. Fresh meat is pretty easy to come by on account of Yoli being good at hunting and capture, so it’s mostly vegetables, fungi and cheese that’s in the Caravan larder.

The stock changes depending on where they’ve been: if they were sailing for a while they’ll have a bunch of dried fish and sea vegetables left over for a bit.

Do they cook, eat out or get take-away/delivered food more?

There are numerous (and often felyne-run) kitchens all over the place where she’s from, so there’s not much need to cook for herself. She’ll gladly provide the ingredients if the chef requests, but the cooking is left to the cats.

Her Caravan’s a little spoiled: they have in their hire a cat who is an absolute artist at cooking up Eastern street food. Watching the Street Cook go to town with a wok is inspiring. Getting to eat the results is divine.

Everyone loves some dark poetry now and then. . . .

When Raven sees the sign for a slam poetry competition with a slogan of “bring the grime, gritty, and gruesome,” well. It’s not like she has anything at all going on in this place. Plus the cafe had dim lighting and a gothic vaulted ceiling—though low enough that when combined with an interior filled with tables, chairs, decorations, and a few couches tucked here and there, gave off a more cozy and private vibe than an empty and cold one. 

She enters and orders a London Fog, then looks for an advantageous spot. There’s a a decent amount of people in here already, but she finds a tall, round table off to the side with an unobstructed view of the stage, and of the front door. Yeah. Probably paranoia on her part. Considering that she also has a wall to her back and the table between her and most people.

 Whatever, the shadows over here are something familiar and comforting.
