of promises and screw ups { vos&whirl&dusk }
A familiar voice fell upon renewed ears. The world was a different place. He was taller now, stronger. His task however, remained as daunting as it ever was before. He still didn't know exactly what to do. But he'd made his decision. What was done was now done. He took a deep breath in, and moved towards the sound. It felt weird, walking. His body was so different. The thing that pleased him the most was the hands. He could retract the blades at will, and he would be able to hold things. He sighed, and stopped. He hadn't tried his voice out. It seemed...deeper. "Ah." So it was. A grin spread on his face as he pushed through some of the brush to come out in a small clearing.
His hand rested on a tree before the small clearing. There was Dusk. And a bunch of his bugs. Vos watched for a moment, unnoticed. The moment Dusk noticed him, Vos spoke. "Hello Dusk." Vos had no idea what else to say, other than that simple greeting.

his decision { story time }
A lone Pawniard sat on the front stoop to a house on Hibernal in Lumiose. He watched the people pass by, laughing and holding hands. It seemed only couples ever passed the house. Happy couples. With a little Pokemon following them, being happy with them. Every time they passed by, an image floated into the Pawniards mind. Whirl and Dusk, holding hands and laughing together, with the Pawniard walking right below the hands, in the middle of the two, smiling in his own little way. And then, moments later, the image would shatter. It would be two strangers and a random Pokemon and the Pawniard would be left to hug his legs to his little body, staring down at himself.
a little chat { Vos&Dusk }
A familiar face in the house sat on the kitchen counter, humming to himself. He wasn't one of the humans, but he was treated just the same. Probably because he could talk. And talk he would. Today he was going to clear something. He'd not gotten through to Whirl who brushed him off, but he gathered enough that he could talk to Dusk and ease the poor boy's worrying.
Breakfast had been left by Whirl. Pancakes. With a note. Saying he'd be gone. Of course. Vos sighed, swinging his little legs back and forth. He looked up when he heard someone coming down the stairs. He waited patiently for the sleepy boy to walk into the kitchen and sit down at the table and read the note. Vos watched as Dusk plopped a few pancakes onto his plate. The boy hadn't seemed to notice the Pawniard yet.
Vos slipped off the counter and walked over to the chair beside Dusk's. He pulled it out and hopped in it. "Vos thinks it is time to talk."

(In crude, sloppy handwriting) ur wifi is broked
Whirl simply ripped the note into tiny little pieces and dropped the pieces into the toilet, flushing them down. Sticking something like that on the bathroom mirror... At least write correctly. Stupid...
"Vos wonders if Whirl is okay?"
"Some idiot talking about the wifi. I think they got the wrong house."
"Why?"
"We've got a password on ours, and have never shared it."
"..oh. Vos wants to go back and bake more."
"So do I, Vos. So do I."
