Look, if you’re gonna vote (and you should!)

DON’T vote for a third party.

DON’T vote for Kanye West, he’s a celebrity married to a piece of plastic and he marked his political party as a freaking birthday party

DON’T vote for Harry Styles, he’s not even american and he’s too young anyways.

DON’T vote for Thomas Sanders, he’s too young to even become president even if he won.  And he’s from Florida, everyone’s a flight risk from there, no offense.

DON’T vote for Harambe, he’s a dead gorilla, and it literally does nothing for you to waste your ballot by putting down an animal’s name.

The only reason why I’m explicitly talking about these three (four if you count the gorilla) is because I’ve seen some stuff around saying that you should vote for one of these people and I’m going to say it right now:

DON’T.

These people have lives and careers that don’t involve a fanbase pushing them onto a ballot.  They aren’t politicians, they didn’t ask you to do this (exception for Kayne) and for how great they may be as people, they aren’t equipped to deal with the problems of being president.

Vote to get Tr*mp out of office, which means voting smart.  Voting a third party does nothing to help us and it only strengthens Tr*mp in the long run.  Vote for Biden, he’s currently our best shot and so we have to take it. 

And remember, if you’re voting by mail, get your ballot out by October 13th, there’s been rumors of the postal system being slowed down and it’s better to get your vote in early than to not have it counted at all.

Lies

I've said this before, a couple years ago, and I'll say it again.

Lies hurt people. Think for a moment about how much blood is on Rupert Murdock's hands. Perhaps it's about time we implemented integrity laws to regulate journalism. Not to apply constraints to the fourth estate, but to allow truth to freely flow, by eliminating misinformation and deception from the corrupted corners of our news sources.

If it's meant only as entertainment, fine; spin yarns of fiction, tell jokes, create parody. But if it's a trusted source of information, there should be penalties for deception from a media that is expected to be honest and helpfully informational.

And now, the problem is being exacerbated by journalists, or those in charge of journalists, suppressing information that we need, in favor of sensationalist attention grabbing stories to build their audience, and therefore their revenue. Where is the integrity?

If voters are expected to make informed decisions upon their ballots, such voters need to be extensively informed. I mean, that's the way it's supposed to work. Right? .

Burning books is not justice. Shaming the innocent is not justice. Rigging they system is not justice. Discrediting truth is not justice. Supporting a con artist is not justice. Killing democracy is not justice. Corrupt Conservatism is not justice.

Your vote is so very important. Vote smart. Don't vote for the loudest voice, but for the wisest. Do your research and learn who the bad guys are, and vote them out.
