This came to me while listening to some Pokémon remixes. Why don't the Pokémon in game have a critical animation? Yeah it won't make much difference in battles but it would be a nice attention to detail. Plus it would allow for boss battles where you can't tell how weak a Pokémon is since you'll have to pay attention to what the boss Pokémon is doing.
I think it would be neat, don't you?

This will be the canon lore but characters like "Carer" will still be a blank canvas despite having a canon name and such. Think of it as naming the main character something other than their canon name in a game (same goes for their appearance).
