This is a dumbass vent but I'm kinda bummed about my laptop shitting itself. Like, it won't connect to the internet at all. And it's old to the point where it's more worth it to just wait and buy a new PC, but that still means I'm gonna miss my daily skin drops for DST, the next RoT update, and probably Winter's Feast too. Feels bad, man

American Foster Care System be like:

Foster parents: you can’t smoke, must have child locks and stuff you pay for out of pocket, keep all your medicines locked up, preform emergency drills, and don’t you dare hit the child. Disobey any of this and we’ll immediately take the kid from you.

Biological parents of said child, however: we casually suggest you stop smoking around your infant but no rush, here’s money for child locks that we took from tax payers, once you get your child back you can hit them. Also, we’re using tax payer money to pay for your rent so you can be considered financially stable so we can give you back the child you birthed but didn’t bother to visit in the hospital because you didn’t care. You look nine months sober, any abuse and neglect you preformed while on meth is the addiction’s fault, not yours. Enjoy. Wow, we’re really making a difference in this world and making it a better place :)
