Lawrence O' Donnell just had an Edward R. Murrow moment, and everyone needs to see it.
There's literally no evidence that Biden's age has affected his ability to do the job of leading the free world. Trump on the other hand rambles incoherently, can't remember who he's running against or where he is and everyone who has worked with him says he's a fucking moron and they will not be supporting him this year.
That should be enough for people to be able to make a clear contrast between the candidates and yet, we have people who either have a short-term memory problem about the last time Trump was in office, are stupidly turning into single issue voters over a conflict in the middle east that has gone on for longer than they've been alive and are putting all of their own citizens and their own country at an extreme risk, or they think maybe we don't need a democracy after all which is the dumbest shit I've ever heard in my life.
Joe Biden is old. Get the fuck over it and vote.
We already know that polling is a broken system, but The New York Times is apparently fudging polls for click bait. They care more about their own traction than they do about guiding the public through this election in an honest manner.
Chris Hayes doing an amazing job laying out economic facts surrounding Biden's first 4 years in office.
It's easy to lob blame at the President but the aim is not always accurate.
While he gets targeted for blame and frustration, the conservative CEOs and board members go less monitored and scrutinized.
Do you know who heads the companies you buy products from? The stores you shop at? Do you know where your money is going?
How many Republican politicians playing “Blame Biden” are seeing the increased amount of money you’re paying out for basic necessities get turned into campaign contributions from the heads of the companies that are blatantly increasing costs on you to ensure they deflect the blame?
Biden makes huge gains with older voters according to Pennsylvania poll - Morning Joe - 1/11/23
Older voters are supporting Joe Biden in the 2024 race by huge margins. Possible motivations include a push back against the glaring ageism of younger voters, Trump's past catching up with him in court which makes him a more chaotic and less appealing candidate and Trump's desire for the economy to crash solely for him to benefit politically.
This was the most gripping thing on C-Span in weeks
Are you better off in Joe Biden's America (Yes, you actually are)
Chris Hayes doing what he does best and dispelling the argument that somehow America was better off under Trump.
We weren't and we won't be if enough people are ridiculous enough to either stay home or vote for an authoritarian who doesn't care about anyone but himself.
I am so sick of hearing how people just think without any concrete evidence that Trump will handle an economy that is actually flourishing and doesn't need his "help" because he's "a business man". He's a business man who has seen every single business he operated go down into bankruptcy and he damn near did the same thing to the country as President.
Spare me your "America needs a business man" mantra. Trump is a spoiled little rich boy turned con artist, not a business man.
Mitt Romney was nothing more than a corporate goon who was brought in to kill the company and provide the people at the top with golden parachutes.
People need to let that bullshit philosophy go. A government needs to be run by someone with experience in government, regardless of how you feel about government.
Joe Biden's knowledge and expertise is why we're doing better than some people want to believe we are.
