We are thrilled that Proposition 12 passed in CA, banning cages for egg laying hens by 2022, and increasing the size of crates and enclosures for breeding sows and baby calves being killed for veal. While it is nowhere near the life we dream of for farm animals, it is one small step toward get people to think more about the individuals who live their entire lives exploited for human profit and the power we have as a society to change that.
