Quick voting rant.

My friend has spent months saying she didn't like either candidate and wasn't voting. Tonight, she went online and admitted she did end up voting. She wrote in Mickey Mouse. She thinks this is funny. For those of you out there who are younger or just new to politics, I beg you: please take your voting privilege seriously. This person went to the polls..stood in line...took up the time of the poll workers, made actual voters wait for her...FOR A FUCKING JOKE. My blood is boiling. That shit isn't cute and it isn't funny. Waste your own time if you must but not the time of others. This grown ass woman is in her late 30s. I'm just disgusted right now.

If you don't know who you're voting for (or what rank voting is for you Minneapolis people) go research it RIGHT NOW. Stop reading this, go research!

This is your civic duty and what gives America the potential to be so amazing. Lots of people around the world don't have this privilege, don't squander what's been given to you.

i feel like i'm in a tug-o-war with half my family pro-obama and the other half pro-romney, holy shit.

like, i want to vote, i really do, but i don't want to vote if i don't know all of what i'm voting for and damn i just... skglksdgjlgsdg. i don't want someone to just say 'vote for soandso!" i want to know why i should vote one way or the other. 

i really need to do some research and probably sit down and force myself to watch the debate. ugh.

i despise politics. really.
