My obsession with Vincent Whittman persists to the point I now have a longfic almost entirely planned out (Started, ending is solid, middle bit is vague) and YEAH IT'S SELF INSERT FIC BABY!!!!! A spectacular angst fest exploring Vincent's fixation and developing feelings for a transman who also isn't entirely a man, when Vince himself is decidedly NOT gay, and the struggle to up hold his image of perfection as he ascends from television personality to absolute godhood. (And whether or not he will put Maxim's happiness first and throw away everything he's been building up to, or cast aside the one person (Girl? No, MAN) that he might actually love in order to see his plans through)
Factor in that Maxim is also literally half his age (Maxim at 25/26, Vox at 50)
