Axel's outfit

After being given his suit - his very nice suit which he approved very much of - Axel managed to get himself looking reasonably smart. He was so used to being so.. casual, so comfortable, that a suit just felt weird. The last touch to complete the outfit was the mask - one that he certainly wouldn't have picked if it had been up to him, but he supposed it went well with the jacket they'd picked out for him. It took a little while to tame his natural dark curls, but once his hair was styled just right, he left for the opera house.

The person he was most looking forward to seeing was Ana, so he kept an eye out, trying to spot someone that looked like her, 'though it was pretty hard work considering everyone was wearing masks. He made his way down to the dance floor, glancing around his beautiful surroundings, hands in his pockets, feeling a little nervous for the first time in a while. He wasn't even sure why. Axel sighed softly and decided to start mingling, keeping his eye out for anyone that he might have met already and could possibly recognise under a masquerade mask.

Checking herself in her compact mirror, Alex didn't know why she was nervous. Maybe the thought of not knowing whom was whom made her a bit edgy, but in a good way. Straightening her mask, she took a deep breath before walking into the grand ballroom. It was bigger than all the ones she had seen in the past which was exciting. Glancing down at the floor she started to walk around with her hands behind her back, loving the way her dress flowed.

Figiting with her dress, Belle looked down at her shoes. She wasn't one to dress up like this for something. But this was something she wanted to do. And the only date she would ever have was Rhett But now with her single, she felt awkward. Walking into the grand ballroom, Belle looked up and around the great architecture in complete awe. Thankful that her sketch pad was tucked away in her purse, she glanced around knowing that probably no one would recognize her with the mask, that she would be just a plain Jane to all the beautiful women in the most amazing dresses.
