Maybe "The Other Lost Incident" is like from Spectre's point of view? Because we don't actually know much about the incident aside from Yusaku's point of view. But I wonder then, if Spectre is the Lost Baby, then how come he is Revolver's right-hand man? It's basically he is for some reason allied with the son of Kogami, the one who hurt him?
(In reference to this post.)
Maybe. We know that Revolver certainly sees it in a different way.
Revolver (episode 12): “You’re a fool, Playmaker. To help SOL Technologies without knowing the truth!”
We know that Revolver knows about The Lost Incident, and was probably a Lost Baby himself. He has to know that Kogami was involved, and yet… he pins the blame for what happened on SOL.
So Specter probably does, too. I saw a mini theory a while ago, and I forgot who it was who said it (if anyone could help out, that’d be great), but the gist of it was that the “Knights of Hanoi” are… the Knights of Hanoi. As in, the Knights of the Hanoi Project’s victims. That the group exists in part to avenge them.
I mean, I have my own ideas about Kogami’s true motives, but we won’t know for sure until we know. It’s possible that he may have done everything under duress. It’s also possible that he may have lied to Revolver and Specter about not actually being at fault.
Whatever the case may be, if this is the case then of course Revolver and Specter wouldn’t blame him for it. Of course they would join his organization. Of course they’d want to destroy the ignises, the end result of their torture. Of course they’d think Playmaker was idiotic for helping the actual source of his trauma.
And we might learn all of that next episode. I just… wish I could be more excited about it *is still intensely worried about Blue Angel*
