Tijdens de Mensenrechtenweek (naar aanleiding van de 70ste verjaardag van de Universele Verklaring van de Rechten van de Mens) organiseert Jongerengroep Amnesty Gent (waarvan ik lid ben!) een boeiende gespreksavond met zes jongere mensenrechtenactivisten uit diverse domeinen. Het evenement gaat door op woensdag 5 december, om 20u, in de Green Hub (onder de UFO).

Het eerste deel is een gesprek tussen het publiek en de gastsprekers, en de gastsprekers onderling, waarin we proberen vanuit hun diverse domeinen de algemene uitdagingen, problemen, technieken, etc., van het huidig en toekomstig mensenrechtenactivisme achter te halen. In het tweede deel worden de gastsprekers opgesplitst, en kan het publiek hen in kleinere groepjes volgens een doorschuifsysteem vragen stellen over hun specifieke actiedomeinen. Onze gastsprekers zijn Frank Sioen, Inke Gieghase, Tess Vanacker, Senne Misplon, Sabrine Ingabire en Kirsten Masil. Zij specialiseren zich in uiteenlopende domeinen van mensenrechten, zoals vrouwenrechten, rechten van personen met een handicap, anti-racisme, LGBTIQ+-rechten, rechten van vluchtelingen en migranten, etc. Het belooft een uiterst interessante avond te worden. Allen daarheen, dus!

The past few days have been tough. My parents arrived in Taiwan on Friday, after their travels to Australia, NZ and Tonga, and they're staying here till next Friday and then they're going home. I'm super happy to see them, and I'm so grateful that I get to spend a full week with them, but they also had to tell me that my cat, Chili, passed away last week. I feel so empty and lost. I just want to hug him again.

Hey friends! I could use your help for a post I'm planning for my sex toy review blog @pillowprincessreviews I'd like to write a post about searching for cunnilingus-proof lipsticks (inspired by Girly Juice's blowjob-proof lipstick post). My gf and I own about 6 different non-transfer lipsticks between the two of us, but if at all possible, I'd like to try more, for SCIENCE (also for lipstick and going down on ppl, which are two things I like a lot :p). I can't rly afford to spend a bunch of money on more liquid lipsticks, so if anyone would be willing to let me borrow any they might own and could live without for a few months over the summer (or send me any they don't use anymore? But rly NO PRESSURE AT ALL) that would be cool. If you wanna read about cunnilingus-proof lipstick pls help me out! ^^
