Bromo is an iconic & mighty volcano that sits surrounded by a sea of volcanic sand in the mystical heart of the Tenegaar caldera in Java, Indonesia. It is part of a series of volcanoes in the Bromo-Teneggar-Sumeru National park and part of the Ring of Fire.

Bromo is the Javanese pronunciation of Brahma, the Hindu God of creation. To me, the name itself invokes a sense of power. What needs to create can destroy as well - just like this beautiful volcano. I have attempted to capture this emotion in this video - the music choice is driven to achieve this as well.

These shots were taken over two trips to this wonderful location in 2019.
